How's the 2 compared once tuned? I've heard the newer generations don't take tunes to well?? Never seemed to be an issue that I'm aware of as long as the person tuning knows what they are doing or has it professionally done. Word on the street around me they are nothing but issues once tuned 🤷

New looks like its ready for wsbk but civilized, old looks king of the hway runs and seems it sits lower. I love the new the way the side fairing 'echoes' on the front is sexy af and in a weird way it reminds me my 07 10r them kong looks

Great video showcasing the differences. I unfortunately totaled my 2016 R1 and I'm now looking for a brand new bike. The 2021 ZX10-R is really striking an itch with me. Any thoughts on going from a new gen R1 to a new gen ZX10-R?

I'm thinking about the zx10r as well, been on Yamaha and the Kawasaki's are (imo) slightly easier to ride on the street, since I love the track but ride more street, i thought i would go back to Kawasaki and try a 1000cc bike from them. I rode a r6 for track and have a naked Kawasaki for commuting, the r6 i would keep for the track and is def more nimble, the 1000cc class though, I really love the r1 and crossplane sound, but now with how many zx10r's ripping canyons and doing crazy highway pulls. It really makes me consider this 2021 zx10r because its even more nimble then the previous generation and supposed to get more power once we get a good ECU flash available. I love the new styling and integrated winglets, plus the PRICE is PHENOMANAL

@@marcjuvinall9627 I hear you brother. I have had a handful of cbr1000rrs and R1s but this new 2021 zx10r has definitely been the bike I feel is most capable at the track. Just how quick it turns in shocked me. I've only had my R1 at the track but this new ZX-10R was immediately noticeable how quick the turn in even in the canyons around me. It takes a lot less effort and just seems to snap into where I want it to go better than the R1. I recently raced my buddie with his 2020 R1 and I pulled on him pretty good where my old 2016 R1 would not pull or almost stay even. The ZX-10R for 2021 is significantly quicker than the new R1 run of the box and when we traded bikes it re affirmed my decision to get the 2021 ZX-10R.

Do you think there's much difference in size? as the 2016 does look a bit more chunky which I like as modern bikes are getting really slim and I'm a big ish guy and the newer bikes look smaller on me I have a 2018 zx10r and I'm unsure about upgrading this is a big issue haven't been able to see the bike in person yet due to covid also a big deal is I don't like the 2 colours they are doing think a kawasaki needs alot more green 😀

Just buy the RR then 😉 it’s actually suited more towards bigger riders actually, the riders pocket is bigger therefore it caters all riders big and small 😃

Hope they make a ZX10S and a RR next gen . skip the R. ergos last and this gen's R are way too aggro for street rides > 20mins.

Unfortunately the odds of that happening are very slim. The RR had to be made for Kawasaki to compete in WSBK, and the R will always be the base model of the zx10. They’ll have a ninja 1000 but won’t look anything like the flagship 1000cc super bike

New one does not have a fuel gauge, but it does tell you how much fuel you have used, and the new one is more comfortable to me, I just bought one and it’s great 👍

To me the 16-20 looks bigger. They’re honestly the same size, but the front end of the 21 makes it look a little more compact
