2022 All Access Pass Interview with 10cc

Seen 10cc 7 or 8 times at Glasgow Apollo in the 70's and every concert was fantastic. Then 10 years or so ago I heard that they were touring under the name Graham Goldman's 10cc. I wasn't sure what to expect, I wanted to remember them as they were, then 5 years ago my wife bought us tickets to see them at Shrewsbury. It was different but a great show. What made it different was they weren't trying to sell records, they were enjoying the performance and show-casing their music. 👍👍

My fist album I bought was Sheet Music and still it is never dull to listen to it. It’s more than just songs, it opened my ears that music can give you imagination. And therefore I go to Graham’s 10cc gigs when possible.

Just had the most amazing experience having been to a 10cc concert at Eastbourne uk. 10 cc were one of my favourite bands ever and takes me back to those times in my teens and ever since when something magic happens when you hear music that really touches you and you never tire of hearing these great songs, If you get the chance to see these guys showcase what they do you will love it. Hats off to you profesional artists and performers of great music all of you past and present.

I am envious! I've never seen 10cc live. They never seem to get to North Dakota. So I guess I'll need to travel a bit. :-) Money has always been tight, but I will find a way. I actually haven't been outside of North Dakota in almost 20 years, and that was to visit my sister in Minnesota, so that might not even count. I've really got to work on traveling a bit more. My first 10cc album was "How Dare You" which I bought when it came out when I was 16. And I bought it, not because of "I'm Not In Love," which I thought was over-played at the time, but rather "Rubber Bullets", which I had heard a few times on the radio a few years before. I loved "Rubber Bullets", so I bought "How Dare You" based on that, and fell in love with the album. I still have it, and listen to it often enough that my girlfriend is beginning to get frustrated with me, because when I listen to it, I tend to listen to the entire album three or four times in a row. Then I do the same with "Deceptive Bends", and etc. Good times. Great musicians.

Absolutely love me some 10cc, which was formed more than half a century ago, but I think they may have missed an opportunity not afforded to most other bands. When they lost 50% of the band they had the opportunity to rebrand as 5cc and still be recognizable (arguably) as a reincarnation of 10cc. Eh, just wonderin'.... 🤔🤭

Rick Fenn is a very competent guitar player and bass player i don't know if people know that Rick Fenn played with Mike Oldfield and Rick Wakeman in the period 1982 to 1985 with both Brillant musicians Feel the Benefit is a nice guitar part. But the year i think they broke in Australia was in 1977 with the deceptive bends tour i think they played in Sydney September 77 with the live sound was even better than the studio versions if someone could correct me i think they may have bought their recording studios with them which was Strawberry Studios it wasn't a big console but don't forget 16 tracks to 32 tracks was only starting to filter through the industry. I think they may have hired the Clair Bros PA i could be wrong, but many people commented on the above /To this day i have not heard a better sound system in a concert setting / Rick Wakeman had a mammoth PA with Journey Tour to cope with 1/ His Band 2/ Orchestra 3/ Choir 4/ with his keyboards being on average 12 to 14 keyboards. on any solo tour he did in the 70s 10cc played sydney February 2021 i think just b4 covid a standing ovation by the audience

I t pisses me off when 1 member claims to be the band that was, especially with a group like 10cc in which every member was just as integral as each other.
