Nice to see an objective breakdown... Andrew is good but still has flaws. James looked so good with the extra mass.
@SkrimpKing2 жыл бұрын
James has flaws himself as well..mainly the fact that his lats barely stick out much, which suck. Because if he was just a little wider he would look insane with how much dense muscle he packs.
@1982spqr2 жыл бұрын
@@SkrimpKing nobody said that James has no flaws... he has been around a long time... but he is making the most of his strengths. @justsomejusstsome89942 жыл бұрын
@@francescoporcari8597 No problem with his density. But indeed barely has width and his back genétics are just not optimal, itll never look as good or be as good as someone with better back genétics like Andrew, William Bonac, Brandon Curry Martin Fitzwater or Nick Walker. The only way he'll get the edge over some of those guys is because of his insane lower body and condition, but even then he's not beating Martin, William or Nick in the lower body that decisively either.

Why are shredded glutes more important in Classic than Open? The same judges who told Wesley he would have won in classic if his glutes/hams were shredded also rewarded Andrew 1st in open who had no lines in his glutes and hams.
@kinggeorge902 жыл бұрын
Wesley Vissers has always had conditioning issues. He just never comes in absolutely shredded. His wide waist doesn't help matters either. But I do think he should have won the Arnold Classic UK. I personally agree with Andrew Jacked winning this show, but if he doesn't tighten up significantly for the Olympia, he'll be in for a rude awakening.

Thing is, Andrew is Paul Dilett size. He is almost 300lbs, it doesn't look as freaky as Ronnie because he is well over 6' but he is more like a Paul Dilett that can pose than Shawn Ray. Shawn Ray was routinely getting outweighed by like 50 lbs or more by Dorian, Nasser and Dillet, he managed to even get second place twice only because of the posing round, so the situation is very different from that of Andrew Jacked who is completely dwarfing most of the other competitors whit a colossal frame and some great proportions (shit calves aside).

The footage here doesn't tell the full story. Looking at the individual routines, Andrew dominates the front double, front lat, side tri, and ab and thigh. That's four poses he is leaps and bounds ahead of the other competitors. I think arguing his conditioning isn't up to par argues that ONLY conditioning matters. Anyone doubting his front lat look at 8:32. For anyone doubting his side tri, look at 9:28. His glutes and hams aren't peeled, but no one else has quad feathering, sharp seratus development, or even abs by comparison.
@Tomn8er2 жыл бұрын
Agreed about the FDB and AAT. Not totally sold on the FLS until I see him next to the others, but yes he did look good individually and could take it. The side triceps is really good too, but not dominant considering the rest of the callout were all strong there too.

Hey Tom I have no Idea if you will see this. But while I adore your videos I fully support you in taking a step back! I used to be obsessed with bodybuilding and lived for the sport as an amateur. It destroyed my mental health, I think the bodybuilding community in general needs to acknowledge this. While the sport is dope, it can be really bad for your mental health, even just as a fan. These days I'm super into yoga and actually am a teacher! Its a very positive thing for me, no downsides fr. My body is way healthier and happier too. I still check in to NSP's and your vids, watch the olympia. But my social media feeds aren't exclusively bodybuilding photos anymore. I'm a fan, but it doesn't rule my life you know? I'm a much happier healthier person that way. So I fully support you taking a step back and following your version of that path! We talked on instagram once and you seemed really cool! You're a real person with real human needs and struggles. If you need to take a step back, I support it! I miss your vids a lot, but I'd rather have you be happier

i agree it's really mind boggling how shows are not filmed in 4k by elite companies considering the age and popularity of the sport...take Crossfit as a comparison, in only a few years managed to give top notch footage not only of the competition but a ton of behind the scenes content as well and all that for free.
