beautiful! Was that a game trail you found on your way up or a man made one? Always a bonus when you dont have to bush whack!

There was a fair bit of mining back there back in the day, so there's still some old horse trails kicking around. The first 8km or so were pretty rough, broken up, poorly marked and hard to follow, but once you get up to the alpine, the old trail is pretty worn which makes life a lot easier!

Good video. Would be more enjoyable if the music wasn't at eardrum shattering levels (when volume is adjusted to listen to the dialog).

Appreciate the feedback Eli! I generally try to equalize the volume levels between music/dialogue, I’m not sure whether my program glitched during saving, or if I forgot to save the changes, but it can definitely be a bit much depending on what device you’re watching from. I’ll do my best to stay more on-top of that going forward with the new vids 👍

Great content but all of your videos have such a huge sound difference between you speaking and the music.

Appreciate the feedback Robert! I’ve changed up the editing software, video equipment and added a proper mic for this year, so hopefully that’s going to help address that problem.
