I painted mine the same colors as the old Kenner rubber red rex. Now there is a story behind that I'm studying to become a film director in college and my idea is this, since the Jurassic franchise is "over" there's only one thing left to do REBOOT a Jurassic park reboot based completely on the book but with scientifically accurate dinosaurs with some of them having the coloration of the dinosaurs in the book and the others having the coloration of the old Kenner toys.

Thanks for the video! I'm really excited about these. I won't get this one, but I'll definitely try to get the 1:18 scale (I'm obsessed with scale and 1:18 is the way to go for me). It's a relief that the figure can stand on its own. Did you try different positions without the stand or just what you showed on the video? I'd like to make stop motion videos, so that's an important part for me.

Well if it isn’t one of the Tyrannosaur Figures from Beasts of the Mesozoic. Although this “do it your own painting” is nice, but I prefer the fully colored ones that are known. Especially the one based on the creature from Walking with Dinosaurs. The 1999 BBC Documentary. I’ll be waiting for one of those.

It's definitely not one of the best aspects of the figure but I was pleased to see that once you articulate it in a certain position you can kind of move that area to fit it a little better. It's kind of a free-floating area of the articulation so it allows you the ability to move it around. I didn't really notice that too much until after I was messing around with it for a little while.
