Great video Dan C! I've been growing my beard for about 4 years, and I'd hardly put any oils in it, heck i'd just wash it with normal shampoo. Two years ago I saw you come up on my KZbin list and I told myself that after watching your videos that I'm going to start taking better care of my beard. Never tried your summer butter but I love your regular butter. Need to order some of your oil too. Short & stout is soooooo good. I was scared it would smell like an actual stout but to me it’s just a beautiful oatmeal cookie scent with hints of chocolate chips. Forced my mom to smell all my beard products when she was visiting and she said out of every company I had that short & stout was her favorite scent.

I used to keep many different oils and butters on hand ready to go. Beard products have gotten so expensive it’s down to keeping one oil and one butter and use till empty. Butters especially are expensive. Great video!

You called it with the Bahawat oil. 👍 I got the unscented and a sample pack. The oil is great and these scents are clones of some pretty popular designer fragrances. "Millionaire" , for example, is really close to Tom Ford's Tuscan Leather. 10/10 on the oil & the scents.

I've spent thousands of dollars and I've tried if not all companies, most of the companies for beard oils; butters, balms, wash etc. Personally what works best for my skin and beard is Renewed Man. Second to that would be Black Rebel Beard Company. Especially for their quality of strong and long lasting scent profiles. What I especially noticed with these 2 specific companies over the years is that if you plan on grabbing 2-3 or more of their products, they won't go stale over time losing their scent and smelling kind of like cooking oil (so to speak). So from the compatibility and nourishment with my skin/beard, to the long lasting scent profiles and shelf life I love these 2 companies the best. Great video, and solid list 👊🏽

I was glad to hear you mention a beard butter that is to tacky that it pulls hairs out. I’ve tried a few beard butters but the one that falls into the “hair pulling tacky” category is Live Bearded. I like their product but the tackiness is way to much, and sure, I can add some of their oil to it to smooth it out but that’s just product which equals to more money. Can you tell me your thoughts on Live Bearded products?

Beard Octane, Alley Cat, Defined, and Fable oils I've tried and are amazing! I'm a fan of leather or tobacco scents, but have wanted to try some more minty ones. Whats up dan I have a question you mostlikely answered this question before but say if you have 6 or more good quality beard oils and take biotin supplements and ect how do you determine what's making your beard grow??

If you are doing everything right and the beard is going well, it really is hard to determine which is the best factor. Would only be possible by process of elimination
