One of the reasons I stopped with Marvel Legends, and continued with McFarlane Toys. I don't feel like I'm collecting the same figure every time, McFarlane Toys for the most part is all unique and I appreciate that for the price!

Dude that Atrocitus is easily top 3 BAFs from Mcfarlane’s DC multiverse. Pretty good wave overall, with the usual complaints (i.e. some average paintjobs here and there, too many batman and superman figures, the lack of rhyme or reason to character selection/Todd just picking what he thinks is cool vs what the fans want). It’d be cool if he kept going with this line but if he does it probably won’t be for a while...R.I.P. teen titans cyborg.

Batrocious is my very first DC McFarlane figure. The articulation is pretty good. Only down side is the pelvis area. Needs a ball hinge instead to increase range of motion to the fullest. Everything else is amazing.

Kyle is THE character that got me into DC Comics and is still my favorite character (not just GL). I really hope McFarlane does fans a solid and releases him in his original black and white outfit (with less lipstick, though). Also hope to see the entire Rainbow Corps. represented in this line to go with Atrocitus and Hal. I can already see how amazing a Larfleeze would be, and a well sculpted and articulated Indigo is much needed.

In my opinion, The Blackest Knight story is pretty cool because The New 52 and Crises on Infinite Earths are awesome and since I won't get this wave, To me, I would only get Kyle Rayner because he is my 3rd favorite Green Lantern after Hal Jordan along with Jon Stewart, Great video Toyshiz.

These are pretty neat. I'm definitely buying the BAF because I love the big chunky figures, but that may be it. Also, it seems like a giant design oversight that every character is not wearing a ring and that the rings are not painted enough to really stand out. They raised etching at least needs to be painted white or silver and there needs to be some contrast there. The old DC Direct Green Lantern line in particular has really nice metallic paint on the rings.

This is what I've been waiting for since I started collecting. They all have alot going for them. Of course some room for improvement like Kyle's lantern looks like a construct and none of the black lanterns use lanterns but I can't wait to see what's next. I'm in for the hole line.

Yup, Kyle is my guy when it comes to anything GL related. Loved John Stewart in the Justice League cartoons but I didn't start reading comics for real until the early 90s with Death of Superman and Emerald Twilight, and I'm a diehard DC guy, always have been, so these more classic figures are making me soooo happy with McFarlane DC Multiverse right now. And yes, I also think there have been some improvements and I also really appreciate how incredibly easy it is to find these figures and the amazingly low price point. I have reviews up on my channel for Owlman, the Atrocitus/Blackest Night wave, and Parallax and these are all my favorites of the entire McFarlane DC line, I literally cannot stop picking these figures up and posing/playing/looking at them, especially Owlman, so cool. I think the Atrocitus is great and he just looks so cool. Deathstorm came out amazingly, he's almost like a statue or something, the sculpt is so artistic and well done. And my boy Kyle, well, I'm currently painting mine so that he's in his original 90's costume, it just had to be done, I want my Kyle Rayner figure in the mostly black, white on chest, hunter green gauntlets and boots, it's a must for me and it will be done, in brightest day or in blackest night!

I'm a 90's kid so Kyle Rayner is my Green Lantern as well. I would have preferred a darker green for his costume but overall very happy with him and this wave as a whole. Deathstorm is my favorite of the Black Lanterns too, dude. Wonder if we're getting a second Blackest Night wave? Would love Black Lantern versions of Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter and Deadman.

Man they finally got me. Sucks I never saw this at retail other than at FYE 😒 not paying that. All way thru great wave. Still working on getting all the Dark Batmen but to rep all the Corps would be a great display. I have Nekron already so easy need these 3 and bring on others. Get crazy too on choices. psycho pirate with mask shoved into his face. Someone missing half their head. ( Think the Golden Age Mr. terrific was one)

These are very well done...They are finally learning to stop overdesigning figures. 11:36 Hal Jordan has way too much unnecessary lines and stuff on that suit. I hope they make more Lanterns in this clean/simple comic style.

Kinda. Kyle has weird dots and a big sailor but Hal has lines and no diaper. Both could be better

Amazing wave. Just got Deathstorm, it wa either him or Kyle but I just don't dig his lipstick. In addition, Superman is missing paint in his strip that goes from the neck to his chest. It's sculpted but left unpainted.

yeah that's what I mean about Kyle, the head sculpt is cool and it isn't. the lips are a standout in a lackluster way.

I collected DCUC and never got the Matty Atrocitus. I would love to see a size comparison: What does the McFarlane Atrocitus 7" scale look like next to 6" DCUC figs? Would love to know.

@@ToyShiz Thanks. I just meant to compare the new McFarlane Atrocitus with any 6" DCUC fig, preferably a GL, from the Mattel days. That way we could see the size difference since McFarlane is a bigger scale than the DCUC.
