I just bought this bad boy today. I've owened several BMWs in the past and this one takes the cake. The exterior is so clean and the 4 cyl works very well. Well done BMW!

I actually love the G30 body style for the 5 series~ One of my favourite looking 5 series. This and the E60 5 series are two of my favourite 5 series ever made from BMW. Just the way BMW designs their cars inside and out are amazing, and while simple in look, it's still a BMW, so it's going to be good looking nonetheless. It's just the dedication of German engineers :) And the fuel economy is amazing for a BMW car, which I was surprised about. I mean it is a 4 cylinder, so of course the fuel economy will be very good compared to BMW's straight 6 engines, but overall, I think I'd be pretty happy driving this around. I'd still prefer the M5, M550i, M5 Competition, and M5 CS, but those may be too much for some people, and of course this car is not supposed to be like those cars. It's just a simple, luxurious 5 series that people will drive to and from work, and I think it would be great for a road trip, with the comfort and gas mileage.

Yeah this is a great option to get that comfort and nice driving dynamics but still be economical. I like the 550 a lot! That's what I'd buy! Nice that they offer such an array of cars!

yes true. Had the e60 520i 6cyl and got the 530i since 2019. I love both cars and cant agree more!

Own a black 2007 e60 with only about 70k miles… lowered on 20 inch staggered, VOSSEN CVT powder coated black wheels. Black window trim and kidney grill. Love the body style too!

I’d have the 530d, cos it has more bhp and torque (286hp and 479lbft). You can also get it as an estate variant in Europe.

It's pretty nice overall. A bit stiffer and not as soft in texture as real leather. But one of the better synthetic leathers out there.

The bmw will be more sporty. I’ve never made a comparison with them but driven both a lot. More features and tech in the home as well, so just depends on what you like.

What package is the head-up display included? I test drove two of these at two different dealerships today, and one had it, and one didn't.

I'm not too sure, but it should be ether a premium package or executive package. You can build one on BMW's website and see what options are available.

They do make the same HP roughly. But the 330 makes more torque. You'd think it'd be the same since its the same engine. They just tune it different for the different cars. But it's a fine engine for this. I'd get at least the I6 tho for much more power in a bigger car

Rented one of these. Uncomfortable as hell and slow as molasses but to each their own. The interior lights were cool but just felt like a car someone buys for the name

Oh cool. Not a bad option. The 2024 5 series is all new and a much more modern design. But I'm sure this generation 5 series on the used market is pretty well priced
