Nice! I love how all the BMW enthusiasts say this is the ugliest, non-BMW ever made, and that it's a joke compared to a real BMW, etc. Yet, if you look at an early 2000's 3-series, this 235 is the same size, and looks BETTER!

I know it's basically a mini Cooper JCW FWD biased platform. But as far as a daily, not for the track, I'd take this over a JCW or MK8 golf R. Especially if you go for a slightly pre-owned one with only a couple thousand miles, you can grab a '22-23 for mid 30s basically brand new. I'm also looking at the RWD biased m230i, which is a proper BMW. In that car you get The better steering and chassis balance that comes from a rear-wheel drive platform, And it also looks better than the m235i... But you're sacrificing about 50 horses. Obviously the way to solve this issue is to get to B58 new m240i, but that's going to run you upwards up high 50s so that's too much for me. The looks and handling are far better on the 230i, but the power and practicality are better on the m235i. Maybe I just need to go and get a used 2018-19 OG LCI m240i with the B58 In line 6 twin scroll turbo beast. I just hate The idea of buying a 5-year-old car that might have been beat up on. Now that my MK7 golf R was stolen and totaled, I've got to get something soon. Maybe just get a brand new Hyundai Elantra N for mid-30s.

@@chrisz1601 my buddy's 2011 Nissan Maxima LOL...(Been waiting for a settlement, and it's finally closed after a year). So now I'm really getting close but still haven't pulled the trigger. Getting a lot more than I thought so I might be going new m240i or OG 2020 M2 comp with low miles. I'll definitely let you know
