2022 BMW R 1250 GS Overview | Low Suspension

I'm super late to this video but it's worth mentioning.... BMW's seat height on their official documentation is "unladen" and there's a ton of travel in their suspension. So, add up the reductions of height in the low suspension and low seat, then you can reduce the seat height once more inch because "auto" set's the bike to sag 1" from when you sit on it. This is why us 31 inchers can almost flat foot this bike in this configuration.

Good information right there I recently bought a 22 standard GS have to be picked up next week but I really appreciate the information because you don’t always remember to ask the dealer that sold it to you right safe and stay upright

Add 1 AM 22 standard GS just load the hell out of it I’ve had it for two weeks and I have 2000 miles on it a great piece of machinery two items that I really appreciate the amber lights in the front that work has turn signals as well and also the turn signals that light when you use your brakes it shows in the back it’s just a great piece of machinery

With the lower seat and the lowered frame, what is the seat height? I'm only 5'6" with about a 28 inseam. Thanks!

I think it's about 31". I have the 2022 R1250 GS factory lowered now. I also put it in Minimum Dynamic ESA which lowers it a bit. I have a 27"-28" inseam. So far I feel that the bike is working out great for me.

I've heard a few different prices for the low 1250 GSA. Anywhere from $250-$1,000 added to bike cost. I would recommend calling your local dealer to find the exact price.

That's hard for me to answer, not knowing your inseam and riding experience. I would put some boots on and go find one to sit on and test ride. Look up Jocelin Snow as she is only 5' 2" and rides every 1200/1250 both low and standard suspension.

I have not tried the Multistrada. Cory has test rode it and he prefers the GS line for off-roading.
