That EL looks pretty promising for a daily driver/weekend blaster, incredible how much torque it puts out at 2-3k rpm, one strong feature of the fa20 that has carried over and improved alot. Really looking forward to the possibilities with the tuning, some cam timing changes should be needed here..

The engine is the same and the exhaust setup dimensions as well. There's no reason to make custom fa24 parts, the fa24 is really just a fa20 with some refinement and minor changes as well as being bored out to 2.4L, 90% of parts on these cars are easily retrofitted.
@skiddlyd.2442 жыл бұрын
@@Toymonkeyjr If it’s been bored out it’s not the same engine. It’s moving more air. The more air that comes in the more air that needs to go out.

@skiddlyd.2442 жыл бұрын
@@Toymonkeyjr Do you know what the word literally means because you’ve contradicted yourself. The engine literally moves more air so it really needs more free flowing exhaust with optimal scavenging so the cylinders can expel the exhaust and fill cylinders with the most air and fuel possible. I can't wait for more parts to come out that are specifically for the fa24. I honestly think it's going to be slow going though. I know the US isn't the entire world but we have to have the largest car market. I looked up the sales numbers and if you combine the 86 and brz sales, it's almost right at 5,000. There just isn't enough of the gen 2's on the road yet for some of the smaller companies to develop parts. I cannot freaking wait to put a header on and get a tune. There are a few decent options for exhaust but until there is an easy tuning solution, there won't be anything like intakes, headers, ect for the fa24 specifically

Its not 4 - 2 - 1 design because each head is only 2 ports. So its a 2 to 1 design. 4-2-1 design would be from a single 4 port head, 4 runners to 2 runners to 1 runner.
