Just completed the whole car - trunk, rear seat/quarter panels, and doors (didn't do the floor or headliner). Fiberglass inserts for the major door holes and Stinger Roadkill with aluminum tape to edge it. In terms of eliminating noise, I can say without a doubt that the biggest offenders I encountered were the rear quarter panels/wheel wells. The ride was significantly quieter after I did that. In total, it probably took me a little under a week to complete, but I was probably a bit overly obsessive with the details...

6 1/2", and you'd be hard pressed to find a speaker that wouldn't fit...
