Some third party diagnostic tools (120 USD and up, generally) allow you to set the TPMS to zero, essentially. I did this with my Jeeps using the older style tool that is popular for off-roaders. You had to set tiny dip switches and plug it in to teach the vehicle 0 was good to go. The newer ones have a nice user interface, but maybe wait until we know the GR86 is included in the software. The audacity of this dogwater company is hilarious. For those that don't know, Kevin Vo was fired from FT Speed on 12/13/2022 in a disgusting way. Buy your parts from somewhere else than FTSpeed or Subispeed folks; support somewhere that supports its employees and treats them with respect. An 8-year, passionate, face-of-your company employee deserves the respect and courtesy of at least a conversation being had about any conflicts of interest or things that would necessitate termination of employment if continued. To outright fire him out of the blue without giving him a heads up or notice that something he is doing/saying will not fly and deny him the ability to make an informed decision on what his options are going forward reflects poorly upon FTSpeed/Subispeed. In a game where you just play the middleman, I will gladly take my business elsewhere to some other middleman that isn't FTSpeed/SubiSpeed; there are a plethora of other options out there that can access more or less the same catalogue of items. FTSpeed/Subiespeed did Kevin Vo dirty, when Kevin Vo was a SIGNIFICANT part of why the company is as successful as it is today - hopefully yall's marketshare takes a deserving hit and Kevin lands somewhere that will treat him better and be worthy of the good-business his passion and efforts bring forth. If you enjoy content like this, look up and support Kevin Vo's personal youtube channel, where I'm sure he'll be continuing to put out excellent, valueable content without getting screwed by SubiSpeed.

The engine noise isn’t fake. It’s actually the car’s engine sound on a speaker. Seems like a useless gimmick except it’s helpful when you’re on a track with the windows open (usually a safety requirement) and can’t hear the engine to know when to shift. People are connecting the speaker back on to go on track.

It's a Subaru engine...so basically anything can happen...it might die right away, sometime before warranty ends, right after warranty ends, or last a long long time with no problems.....the last and first options being the least likely....do with that what you will....but wait until pandemic and shortages are over so you get a better built car. Don't get one that is built any sooner than 2024.
@lexiarie65452 жыл бұрын
These engines have been pretty reliable; the most common/expected problem is oil starvation whether it’s build-up blocking the oil from getting through, or using too thin oil on track. Obviously this will ruin your engine, but they’re user-error problems; not Subaru problems. If you take care of the car correctly then you’ll be fine. It’s recommended you use premium, but most people tune these for e85 because it gives better performance + it’s cheaper + these things have good mpg so it doesn’t tear away at your mpg badly
