The new factory manifold has slightly unequal length primary tubes. They also flow like crazy. Thats how subaru improved the TQ dip. The full UEL basically gets rid of the dip but ends up losing power in other parts of the RPM range.

Who cares tho, if it sounds that good....it's not like ur gonna be using that pwr difference day to day. Especially when ur takin -10hp or even less than that prob. But, u will be listening to it every sec u drive it. 100% DEF worth the trade off IMHO.

@@alexparrott6558 I have the 22 BRZ. I use every drop of the power all the way up to 7500 RPM every single time I drive the car. Let me be very honest.... these cars are fun but even with the 2.4 FRIGGIN SLOW. You have to drive them balls out to have any fun. 10HP is like a 5% difference. That much on any car is a noticeable difference.

On my brz I’m straight piped with a PLM catless uel header with only a resonator which gets rid of the rasp completely but it’s still super loud it’s so good

Off topic. With air suspension when you get an alignment for a specific number of psi drive height... Do you drive on the rack at ride height or do you go max height and then air out to drive height on the rack and roll the car back and forwards? I'm wanting the most accurate alignment while driving. Thanks. Concerned that airing up max and then to drive height on the rack won't be true to how it'll settle/roll when driving.

I got PLM headers and they’re absolute garbage they won’t stop leaking at the overpipe connection the flange was warped from the factory. Just get tomei or JDL people don’t waste your money.

you dont NEED a tune but if you run it without a tune you will get a CEL, which for a lot of people is very annoying to look at.
