This must be what Elon Musk was talking about on 60 Minutes. He said China is way ahead in EV infrastructure and government regulation and if the USA doesn’t act quickly China will dominate especially with battery production and innovation. I’m very impressed with the design and quality of this EV. Would love to see it in person. 👌🏾✌🏾

what on earth are you talking about? The front looks like it came out of an audi production line and the back has a low profile dodge charger-esque tail light housing . The interior is made to resemble an S class (the speaker covers wrapping along the corners and pattern of the holes is a dead giveaway and they even added the ambient lighting) while the main screen looks like it was plucked out of a tesla. Call it whatever you want ( i think it looks great ) but don't make a mockery of very the people who designed them in the first place.

@@Northwindbreeze That’s exactly how I feel. Maybe BYD is reliable in the Chinese market but it’s another story for the other regions. Guess only time will tell. I do hope BYD will do well in their overseas markets because it promotes healthy market competition, pushing Tesla to do better.

@@moxq2to yep. The Chinese are new when it comes to after sales service. In the global market things get even trickier. German cards also suffered with the American “ need of service” culture. Those cars were not as reliable as they are in Germany neither was the costumer care. My thoughts on this are if the Germans couldn’t give 5 star service, why would the Chinese? The Chinese aren’t South Koreans who greatly depend on car sales. Let’s see.

But from the sound of everything, and from my perspective of how it looks, it feels damn cheap, plastic, etc. Ive been driving a Aiways U5, chinese brand too. It looked nice from the outside, the inside looked futuristic, but damn, you feel like it is a toy, not a car. And i'd like to know what will be the life a such a car, for extend period of time, 5 to 10 years to begin with.
