Had the same problem on a 2022 Can Am Outlander. It just quit on the trail and had to tow it back to the shop. Many thanks for info on locating fuse panel. Replaced the fuse and instantly started. Will now carry tools and extra fuses.

Same exact thing happened to my wife and I today! Thankfully we were out of the trails and on a road in WV. We coasted about a mile down the road. My brand new 2023 Outlander 1000R XT made it one day. Died yesterday in my yard limp mode codes PO231 , PO262, PO264 all voltage issues to the two injectors and the fuel pump. I’m trying this now . I’m sick , I traded in a mint 22 kingquad 750 that was built extremely well for this expensive thing . My X3 has been flawless for 2 years now with no issues .

@@DanielPerez-dg4xp Maybe the fuel pump is drawing to much amperage ? I’ve read it’s a common issue unfortunately. I’m not sure why but I’m grateful mine hasn’t blown anymore

I went with a new mini fuse from another brand & got a manual reset mini fuse circuit breaker to put in later on if the fuel pump doesn't prove to be the issue. I didn't want an auto reset circuit breaker as I thought if it tripped out then back in it would mimic a fault & that I wouldn't know if it had been tripped being auto reset. Those manual or auto reset mini fuse circuit breakers have got to be better technology than the cheap Chinese mini blade fuses the Can-Am comes with stock. My 2023 Can-Am Outlander 650 6x6 max runs a 5 amp fuse on that fuel pump circuit which is interesting. Try putting your fingers under & pulling the front edge of the dash housing forward & up & the whole thing should lift off allowing access to the fuse box.

It has four locating tabs / arms if you look carefully & the dash needs to pushed into the housing firmly to locate them & lock them in place. Once done properly it shouldn't fall in.

It's actually an automatic reset circuit breaker. So far I have not had anymore problems.

This happened to me on my 2022 outlander xt max 650 and the fuel pump fuse was a 5 amp can I still use this resettable 10 amp fuse or should I look for one that is a 5 amp resettable?

you should find a 5 Amp breaker. The wires or pump may not be able to handle extra current which could cause problems (wire melt down/ catch on fire). I would also verify in the manual what size fuse is required in case someone put the wrong size fuse in. Hope this helps.

If it cranks but won't start check the fuse in the video. If that's good, the fuel pump may still be bad. You can also check to see if you are getting spark at the sparkplug. Good luck

I am not sure if the renegade has the same fuse box? problem with fuses is they blow then you have to change them whereas the circuit breaker cb211-10 will automatically reset after a few seconds when it cools down. If the problem continues to happen then you have bigger problems and need to troubleshoot why the fuel pump is drawing excessive amount of current. I hope this helps.@@delanemaxie5599

Nothing I have heard of, probably should be a 7.5 amp fuse instead of 5. Auto reset circuit breakers are awesome though.

@@vincentthompson1662 well, more bad news. I pulled the lid off of the fuse panel and the fuse was good. I went ahead and installed the circuit breaker and it did not work. I’m very let down by the bike. I suspect it’s the fuel pump.

@@lucretia4ever if the fuse keeps popping (or circuit breaker keeps cycling) then fuel pump may be shot or a wiring issue.

@@vincentthompson1662 the next morning i tried unhooking the battery after changing the fuse and startin right away. She hasn’t had a hitch since. Maybe the battery resets something. !?

The same thing here just started happening yesterday on my 2021 outlander xmr 1000. I run battery tender on battery whenever it's not in use and it's used quite often. Going to check battery cables as suggested. My whole steering column shakes and low speeds in tight turns then the dash goes nutty and throws that code, then shuts off till the next time. Doing it every few minutes or so at low speeds. On the road it's fine

@@vincentthompson1662 wasn't trying to mean by the way. I found your video because I am trying to find someone having the same problem I am. Replaced the fuel pump in my outlander 1000 last yr. Hasn't been rode much and mainly sat in the garage on the battery tender for most of the year. Brand new fuel pump has taken a shit again. Run nothing but non ethanol and I add stabil for when it sits like this. Just beyond frustrated. Keeps popping the Fuze and you can hear the fuel pump not coming on.

@@NastyNate98 no worries. I took it in the proper context. Fuel pump issues seem to be a big problem that Can Am should have corrected by now. I had to make a video because I couldn't find anything out there and the XMR is a different animal from all the others. Hope it helps people and I have not run mine more than an hour since putting in the CB211-10

@@vincentthompson1662 Mine is a 17 Xtp 1000 with less than 600 miles. Garage kept. We bought it considering we are members of a club that leases 700 acres of land and then my son got heavily involved in sports and since 18 it has sat 95% of the year.

Does this issue come up on the main screen as limp mode ? My 2022 outlander max dps I rarely ride started for 30 seconds and quit and now won’t start limp mode came up. Is there a easier way to get to fuse box without having to take everything apart ? Battery is good.

That's not surprising. Before I bought my ATV I found that quite a few dealers had new ATVs missing components. The dealers told me that after the building fire, parts were not readily available and some units shipped missing parts. I am sure there are many things that got missed after they resumed production too.

that fuse costs 100€ in Europe. The normal one is under 1€.

They are only $4 here at summit racing. Check ebay as well. The cb211-10 is not a fuse, it's a thermal circuit breaker that resets itself. Fuses are one time use and you have to manually replace them when they pop open.

not sure what you are asking. taking a guess that you are asking if there are any back order issues for the CB211-10? If this is your question, no. I got mine from Summit racing.
