Is it possible removing the metallic clip so I can fix it with adhesives in the console?

No, there isn't. Our other car speakerphone, the Avantree CK11, features a removable clip, but has less features overall than the Roadtrip.

Yes. The music and calls will come out of the speakerphone, not your car.

The mic on the Roadtrip will pick up your voice, not the mic on your phone. Since the Roadtrip is mounted right above your head, the other side will hear you loud and clear. Hope this helps!

What if my car does not have Bluetooth? does it still work

Yes. That's because you are connecting to the Roadtrip's Bluetooth, not the car.

does the radio station have to be tuned in during the entire journey, as with the transmitter, or can I listen to a normal radio station and it automatically switches to an incoming call?

You can listen to a normal radio station and choose to have incoming calls come through the speaker instead (vs through your car's stereo via FM). Hopefully that answers your question

@@sonjahaas4109 Yeah :) no problem! If you're worried about volume, the device's internal speakers obviously can't compete with your car's stereo, but we've had many users say that the volume is more than sufficient for their needs

can i listen to FM straight from this unit and not from my car speakers?

Roadtrip is designed to transmit audio from your mobile device to your car speakers through the FM radio frequency. It is not capable of directly receiving FM signals and playing them through its own speakers or headphones. The FM transmitter works by taking the audio output from your phone and wirelessly transmitting it to your car's FM radio, which then plays the audio through the car speakers. It essentially turns your car's radio into a receiver for audio from your mobile device.

Why does it have a battery if you can charge it?

Sorry for the confusion - the battery is rechargeable but it's also replaceable, so for instance, if you've used it extensively for a few years and the battery's beginning to die, you'd be able to replace just the battery and not the entire product.

i got one of that from amazon about two months and i m here find some answer for my problem with this device ,because Avantree support can't help just sent me wired massage like T2 support or TICKET 917766 has been updated. look like playing with people I used this Bluetooth about maybe two months here what i learned about this Bluetooth , good thing: 1- hold charge for two months 2- no wire or charging cable around my car any more 3- you can take with you anywhere you go work perfectly 4 device speaker is good worst' make this Bluetooth useless when you connected to your car FM radio FM Transmitter keep changing from 103.7 to 104.1 and you are not able to hear clear sound
