Great video Dave love the new look of the equinox! However, I cannot believe that Chevy is using the same steering wheel that’s in my 2017 Malibu in fact the entire dashboard looks the same! Totally surprised it’s not a digital instrument cluster

Dave, great video. I like the Equinox, rented it a few times and for a compact SUV, it was great to drive. Couple of questions: -The 8” infotainment display is angled upwards a bit. Does that get a lot of glare? -Did Chevy do anything about engine noise? I remember the Equinoxes I’ve rented having decent power, but at the cost of quite a lot of engine noise. Has anything been done about that? -Finally, I believe the Equinox used to be built at the CAMI plant in Ontario, but will now be built in Mexico instead. Do you think this might affect quality? At least for the first year of production while the employees there learn the ins and outs of the new vehicle? Thanks

I notice that on the perpendicular parking, the sensors/computer put your car pretty much squarely in between the two vehicles, disregarding the painted lines. So if you come back out to your car, you may be very close on one side or the other if another vehicle pulled out and another parked more squarely in THEIR lines. It's imperfect for sure, but fascinating to watch anyway.

Pretty neat. Unfortunately, I don't have that and I just ordered two new aluminum wheels for my Chevrolet on the right hand side, don't ask why. I do live in the city.

My 2013 Ford Fusion has this same feature but I do not think it will park perpendicular. I have only used it once in my parents' driveway to test it out. I do not think I have had to parallel park since I started driving. Itis a very cool feature to have and you never know when it will come in handy. The only thing I noticed was when it was perpendicular parking that it did not go in the parking spot straight it was pertty far on the left. Thanks for the video.

Yea, it uses the surrounding vehicles to park the car so it centers between them rather than the lines. The system won't even work if there are no cars in the surrounding spots

I love that feature. Unfortunately, in Los Angeles you have about 2 seconds to park before someone rear ends you. Love your videos, I wanted to thank you for the great work. I have a quick question to ask you I have been waiting since April for a chevy traverse it has a vin number and has been shipped my question to you is can it be tracked to know where it is I have nothing bad to say about this time I have waited or the dealership I got it from. If you was closer to me I would have gotten it from you thanks Rick from Massachusetts ps I waited all this time to get the traverse because I wanted the engine block heater but I was in no rush to get it

Your dealer can track the vin.. It may be a MP or delayed status due to chips

Well when you can’t beat Ford GM does the best it can just copy them. But Ford did it a little different.

Ford is far better with this. My explorer will change gears and operate gas/brake. Once its done it goes to park. Driver just has to hold the button and do nothing. It will also pull the car out.
