Idk if a short ram is offered for this platform( havnt really looked) but regardless I would have went with the HVI because it’s incased in the air box which keeps the hot air from the engine out

Short ram sucks In hot air because the intake is exposed and it’s usually somewhere where it’s hard to get cooler air too it

Not always, depends on the look you want/the tire set up you got. My tires for example ended up rubbing my quarters so bad it burned them. But that was cause I was trying to run a bigger tire to compensate for my wheel gap.
