A fun little Freshman Architecture project made up today to honor the passing of Queen Elizabeth yesterday. Students pretended to colonize the Academic Quad with a 30 minute build using simple wood blocks (like the "Froebel Blocks" used by Frank Lloyd Wright in his childhood), and made up a story of their Architecture and Colonizing Culture (not Necessarily British). They will later tell their story to the class, accompanied by photos of their Architectural work.
The young children that later rebuilt some of these quick Architectural works are the children of members of the Elizabethtown College School of Engineering, Math, and Computer Science at a Fall picnic.
