I've had my box like the one in the left, except for the soft close slides, for about 7 years, and I've loaded the box with a lot of tools and it still works perfectly to this day

The secondary ground is not the worst idea. I am an electrician by trade, and the number 1 cause of house fires is crappy extension cords. Overloaded, old, damaged. So, having the box with a secondary ground kinda forward looking. As I have a 44 inch and a 54 inch roll cab that I move around the plant, I actually removed the powerstrip from the units. But my very first box wS a 26 inch, and it never moved from its spot in the garage until I replaced it. Just an observation. NOT saying that I am right and anyone else is wrong. Great video!

Thank you for your kind words and electrician knowledge as I do not have any electrical experience myself. I will revisit the secondary ground if/when I start using the powerstrip.

The box on the right truly would be an upgrade if it hadn't given up a drawer for that big open space up top....and given up a deep drawer at that. Probably subtle 'encouragement' from Craftsman to buy the bottom chest as well. So I bought the one on the left and I am very happy with it.

Maybe tighten the screws for the drawer slides on the right.

How is the top attached on the 5-drawer (left)? I want to know if it's easily removable.

So is there a way to remove that huge logo plate on the one on the right side? I’d like it as a top box but that thing is just too much

It has two push clips behind the plate. I'd imagine adhesive as well. If you don't mine having to small holes - I think you'll be happy with it.
