Because of this video I went and bought a 2022 F8 green RT with the tow package. Surprisingly when driving it, it definitely feels like you are in a tahoe or or full size truck. It is definitely in my opinion a huge upgrade from our 2016 danali acadia. I never thought a 12 min video would make me spend 60k... but here we are! Awesome review man!

I have a black 2021 Durango RT with the blacktop package. It is exactly like the model in this video. I bought it new and I have not had any issues with it. After watching this video, there are no changes to the interior and exterior. The engine and transmission are the same. I am pleased with the power and performance of my ride. I would recommend finding a 2021 mode with low miles that is much cheaper than a 2022 62K model year.

We just bought the 2022 in Destroyer Grey. This is truly an awesome vehicle. The 5.7 liter is very powerful with an awesome exhaust sound. With the RY plus, you get the Harmon Kardon stereo.

Timely review for me as I’m still undecided Durango or Grand Cherokee L. The power of the V8 is so very attractive. Black on black looks great. $62K is a lot for such an old design though. Good review.

I agree with you, this is a nice vehicle which has improved nicely over the years but.........$62,000.00 is A LOT of money, that's easily Tahoe, Expedition territory.

@Topjunkie Yes that's what I'm getting this weekend. Already closed the deal. Did ok considering this horrible market. Had to search and call everywhere to get a decent deal. 3 hr drive to go pick it up. I think the V8's will really hold there value because soon they will be gone. Destroyer Gray RT plus trim , black top package is the one I'm picking up.

I really like this SUV, would want AWD that may be with the R/T Plus? I love what Dodge/Stellantis are doing with most their vehicles. They are keeping much of the manual knobs and buttons which I love. Great review!!!!!!!!

I have the RT with destroyer grey exterior and devil red seats. The transmission is really responsive. U put in sport mode u wont even feel the shifts

Im on the fence. This same truck is in transit to my local dealer. I own a 21 GC Limited X now. Called insurance company and was floored on how much more this RT will be to insure. I knew it would be more but not almost double the price! Help! I dont know what to do!

The 2022 Durango R/T Blacktop with the Tow N Go package is awesome. Diamond Black Clear-Coat with the Red Brembo Brakes. Owned for one week.... Fun to drive. Very comfortable. Love the 5.7 Hemi. It's Perfect!! $69000. A++++ My other vehicle is a 2021 Challenger R/T ScatPack Shaker. The interior of the Durango is similar...which is a cool thing..

Yeah people definitely need to consider. With 50 miles a day round-trip commute and the weekend trips it's about $1400 a month avg. But it's still smiles per gallon :)

Get rid of the suede headliner/safety package, as well as the black package, and it puts it at about 55k. In reality, it should be a 45k suv as it sits. But we don’t always live in reality and that bloated price is BS. I just bought a 700 mile, used 2021 392 fully loaded except the rear tv stuff, was 75 otd. I built a 22 392 with the same options and it’s up to 82.6k lol. Crazy.

I think so they don’t get far if stolen plus dealership is stingy. Dollar spent is not profit. My local dealer always has a wiper blade raised as a code this needs gas.

With the standard tires, the 5.7L engine is speed-limited to 118 mph. With the T&G and Pirelli tires, it will go 140. The SRT goes 160 and the Hellcat 180. The Durango doesn’t have the aerodynamics to match the top speeds of the Challenger and Charger.
