Hi, where did you get the carbon exhaust cover? The one under the seat. Thanks
@tolly552 жыл бұрын
Hi Tommy, I got the carbon exhaust cover from Addiction Motorsport Ltd., but I have to say im very disappointed in the finish and quality of the guard, they claim its the same weave and finish as the Ducati Performance Carbon parts but it's not, i also had to drill two holes out bigger and tap a new thread in the top mounting point because it was full of glue and the hole in the side was rough so I used a Dremel to round it off! so I wouldn't recommend it at all.

I bought mind as a dedicated track day bike. She will never see the street. I take delivery next week. So excited! I traded in my V4S for it. This is the Goldilocks bike! BTW, do yourself a favor and remove the throttle spacers. Trust me on this. The "slop" is there for a reason, especially on a race track where you need that slop in corners..... All the master Ducati mechanics I have spoken to have also told me that over time the ECU gets "confused" and starter issues occur. It can also impact the ride by wide over time....
@tolly552 жыл бұрын
Hi, congrats on the new bike👌, wow that’s some track toy👍 I’m sure you will have lots fun on it, unfortunately I’m to scared to take mine on a track so I will stick to the roads🤣. Funny you say that because I have started to hear a couple of things about the throttle spaces, most recently my Ducati Dealer told me I should remove them or one of them anyway! So I removed one spacer which gives a little play and it feels good, I might take out the other one soon, thanks for the tip👍😁 Cheers.

@@tolly55 good call. Trust me! As for track. I understand your hesitation. But honestly the track is way safer than the street.
