I'm new enough here--isn't the "scoob" just a term they're using for throwing your putter inverted?
@daemn42
@daemn42 2 жыл бұрын
@@philipmcniel4908 No, a scoob uses a forehand grip (thumb on the flight plate) and is usually thrown at about 45 degree angle over or from the opposite shoulder. (RHFH, from left shoulder). James was throwing his truly inverted, with thumb inside the rim and fingers on the flight plate.

I was always a fan of artificial OBs just because it creates scoring separation. On an open 300 foot hole, everyone is making either a 2 or a 3 with few exceptions. Now add an OB area and it could range from 2 to 5 realistically.

Why not go somewhere else for a little while and come back to KS after the april winds are died down a bit? I love watching pros struggle when weather conditions are bad or the course is very difficult like Northwoods black, but can we pump the brakes on the artificial ob already? I understand courses like emporia need to add ob because they are basically in a field but maybe just maybe we should be looking at places like Eagles Crossing as a replacement. Some well placed artificial ob is fine but when the whole damn course is nothing but little white flags and spray paint it looks amateur. Probably would have been able to pay the winners more if they didn't blow $10,000 on flags and spray paint.
