seems to be cool in the future...the actual flight time with that battery pack is to short to think about buying one for over 7000€. but if you fix it and have a flight time like i can reach on a regular ppg ( 2-4 hours ) ill buy one.

The throttle connector looks a bit sketch. Would love to see a locking connector with at least some degree of water/dust protection.

Exactly my thoughts. Latching connector with O-ring seal against dust and moisture. Much safer!

if you are using such a heavy/rigid material for your battery box why not make the battery box part of the frame (like some motorcycles do with their motors). Might be able to get a bit more kilowatts in at the same weight by doing that. I guess the downside would be if you want to battery swap, but are people doing that? I'd love to see this thing reach closer to a 3hr flight time. Gonna keep on eye on this project for sure.

The throttle control plugs... THOSE connectors really? I barely trust connectors like that on my benchtop Raspberry Pi projects... I love the rest of it, but that is one REALLY odd choice. FWIW, DB9 is cheap as hell and would likely work REALLY WELL for that specific connection. It fixes every problem you noted. Zip tie? Nah, screw in plug. Cable orientation? Forced orientation, means no mixups. Adds like, $1-2 to a BOM and fixes a specifically noted UX issue.

Nice video, will the frames themselves be available for version 1 owners to purchase should we damage our frame? I really like the two piece frame, if you butt land and damage the bottom half you can simply replace only the damaged section. Thanks Paul.

No lock tight needed? I know they are nylon nuts but just asking lol… Also is there a torque number for the motor bolts?? This was a great video and you showed all the angles I wanted to see.

No lock tight needed for motor standoffs, some on the gooseneck bar bolts would be fine. I don't use any on my Sp140 I fly but, you won't hurt any thing by using some.

I wouldn't say it's the strongest as it is a single hoop (prioritize weight and comfort) but if you do mess up your frame the frame is the most affordable frame I know. So if you did need a whole new frame it's close to 1/3 the cost of others.

Ya I would update to the latest firmware version, there are some improvement to the chill mode to make it less responsive.

Frame is Al, gooseneck bars are TI, and spars are Carbon Fiber.
