Like others here, I loved your old house! I just love the charm and character of older homes but I could see you needed something that worked better for your family. When I saw the new home I thought it was nice but I wasn’t in love with it. Not that I need to be. LOL! Looks like a huge home but I was still hung up on the Victorian. However, I can see it has sooo much potential and I know you’re going to turn this home into something amazing and it’s going to be fun to watch! We’re all going to enjoy being a part of the journey and I bet most are going to fall in love with it, too. What little we’ve seen already without major remodeling already looks great! I think the wood is beautiful and natural. Im obsessed w/the warmth of wood. The variations of colors and the depth of them. It has been hard to get used to the new house as it is SO different from your other house, but these things take time. Don’t rush decisions based on US! We don’t live there! Take your time and figure out what works best for YOU! I had seen your “Restoration Hardware” vibes coming into your former living room before you moved and I enjoyed the simpler look. I love mixing modern and antiques. It just keeps it cozier. My favorite space from today was the outdoor space. Those warm tones and the houndstooth check. 😍 Your pool, the patio…wow! Stunning! I can’t wait to see how you will change the indoor space in time. The new flooring you mentioned will go a long way towards cozying it up.

I found your channel recently, I’m a new mama to a 9month old and your content is SO inspiring as I work to get organized at home! You give me hope as a working mom to finally feel more organized and efficient soon 😅 Congrats on the move and I’m loving seeing how you’re bringing things together in the new place. We moved a year ago and I didn’t really get to nest being so far along in pregnancy. But now I’m doing all the fall things inside and out! We just renovated our condo backyard-it’s fully paved, I have tons of mums in pots everywhere, we have mums and seasonal cabbage/kale in our beds, pumpkins, lanterns, etc. I gravitate toward more natural decor as well, and love bringing touches of the woods and garden into the home. I’m not as big on Halloween decor yet but I’m sure that’ll change as my little one gets older 😊

I live in South Dakota. We’ve been above average with temperatures ranging from 40 to 75 every day but next weekend we turn chilly getting down to freezing. It probably won’t snow for a couple of months. I am completely excited about fall and Halloween and Thanksgiving and Christmas! I love the holidays and I love decorating for the holidays. We live in Central Oregon with beautiful fall weather. We just moved into a new to us house built in the same era as yours (seems so from the finishes). You even have my fireplace and gas insert. 😆It’s quite a change for us, from 14 acres to 1/3. It was time, bigger house but less storage. 😳😳 In time we will make it our own, style wise. Needs LOTS of updates. I’m itching to decorate for Halloween but am resisting until I put everything away. 🤔it’s a puzzle. I live in Pennsylvania near Allentown. It was a hot summer, and now fall came fast it's only in the 60's in the day and 40's at night. Everything turned out beautifully. I especially love the outdoor area. It looks like a calming, tranquil place. It is hard to get back into a routine after moving. Give yourself some grace. In my part of Texas (this week) we're having highs in the low 90's/upper 80's and lows in the low 60's. I am all about the traditional fall and Christmas colors too. I can admire other styles but for my home it will always be traditional.

It’s perfect !!! I was thinking If you want to pop a sign on your cooker hud. A good tip is a metal work top edging. You can glue it on (with heat glue) and it blends in and gives you a ledge to pop your sign on. I just love this journey 🧡🍂🥰
