i never understood why malaysia is almost always given the short end of the stick when it comes to sound systems in cars. in other countries, if not standard, you could at least upgrade to a proper sound system instead of having to accept the base version of speakers. it’s so unfortunate because time and time again a car is launched here and they leave out the nice sound system (unless it’s a Volvo because Volvo doesn’t scam people like other car brands do). even worse than this BMW are the C300’s 6 speaker setup. come on now for a car even more expensive than this one, they couldn’t even include the Burmester.

Wow the price has increased so much, pre-SST we got the 330Li with the 5 years package for around RM280k. No worries of all the downsides mentioned, all those parts are available to be retrofitted using original bmw parts.. 360 camera around 7.2k, Adaptive cruise 7.5k. B&W speakers 3.2k TPMS RM800 Power boot 2.5k

I used to follow the speed limit all the time. But with the 3 series, driving 110 really2 feels like 70 no kidding. It’s so hard to follow lately

I was expecting the harman Kardon audio and android auto as well. If someone can retrofit those stuff I dont think it is an issue

IMO, you could get this ( a semi-decent spec-ed 3 series nearly as spacious as the mid-size 5 series) or get a refugee spec 5 series just for the "5" badge. Do the math. Still not a real BMW thou. Just a more justifiable token BMW then all the 4-banger entry level BMWs faking as M cars with China parts rolling around the suburbs KL nowadays.
