I got the G80 and been the most reliable car I drove. Had an e class , q7 and a8 before. Got 150000 km and absolutely brilliant. I’m seriously considering the ev in 2024… And that solar panel onthe roof that will be very expensive to repair …hail and so

Interestingly my mum would want a "normal looking" EV, whereas my dad would have an EV "that looks quite different". I agree with both of them! We need a mix of both in the world anyway

Easily one of the best looking vehicles inside and out that you can buy today. Just gorgeous. Diehard petrolhead, but I think this electric version of the G80 is the best version. Perfect fit for Genesis luxury cruiser with some engagement. Love what they have done. That color is fantastic as well. So impressed.

These cars fly under the radar and I love it. Completely understated (no ev badge) and they're full of amenities. It will get you anywhere comfortably and is relatively quick for such a heavy car.

I've jus spent a week in the Genesis G80 electrified. And it was a hoot. Just the right amount of power, and comfort that eclipses most other EV vehicles. And a great range to boot. One thing - make sure that you add in a windscreen cover with your insurance. The windscreen is expensive but the solar sunroof would be a bomb to repair/replace

Genesis interiors is suddenly on its own level. Design, materials, real buttons and dials... Looking exiting, classy, modern and want-to-have at the same time. This is the exact opposite of everything from Tesla, hopefully other EV brands follow this design. Imo the Hyundai brand including KIA and Genesis, is leading the EV race today. What an amazing development in just a few years by the Koreans

Looks fantastic on and out. Sadly still paying a premium for electric which is not really enticing. We are so spoilt these days when a 4.3 second sprint to 100 is considered just adequate. It's as quick as a HSV GTS. "Adequate"

looks like a nice car when you are used to see other petrol siblings, but when you start looking deeply into to it, it just looks like another car that it's not petrol in this instance. Then no "frunk", again, not to be a EV from the ground. And this is why a lot of carmakers have not yet understand! If you really want to be fair dinkum about it, make something like Ionic 5! Not to mention the great Model S, still a great architecture 10 years after!!

Many things to like about the electric G80, a model I have admired, however that rear seating position is a fail. Knees up seating position might be acceptable for a small hatchback or sedan but not a large sedan aiming to take on established luxury brands. The limited boot space and awkward two tiered floor would also put me off considering. Disappointing, as it is a vehicle I would have considered.

The Genesis g80 has the most comfortable back seat I've been in, not sure what you're actually talking about. Far better than the e550 and 550i it competes with

WHEEL SPOKES!!! To be honest they probably won't be too bad, EVs with regenerative braking throw way less brake dust (like 90% less) and brake dust the most difficult to get off, normal dirt isn't too bad. Also ceramic coat is your friend.

Can't see them selling very well. I paid 24k for my used 2017 Genesis (G80) with only 26,000klms. That buys a LOT of fuel compared to the electric car!

Looks aren't everything and it's still built to a price regardless what they charge for it out here. They just con people with good looks from Kia and Hyundai when the truth is under the surface it's all second rate build quality. Ask my sister who has a 4 year Hyundai with only 20k on the clock and the gear box just blew up. Hyundai response. 'We are too busy right now you will have to wait for repairs'' . Amazing customer service what a joke. It's about time people start telling the truth about these crap brands with rubbish products.
