Today I'm in the new 2022 Genesis G70 2.0T RWD. This is Genesis' attempt at a smaller, sportier, luxury sedan -- meant to compete with cars like the BMW M340i, Audi S4, and Lexus IS. Let's see whether it hits the mark or not.

Thanks for a great video! Just picked up a 23 G70 AWD 2.0 a couple weeks ago, love the car and for us the 2.0 is just what we needed. Very buttoned-up and the overall quality for the price paid is excellent. Thanks for reviewing the small motor version, it's no slouch, and sure the 3.3 is the beast, but not everyone needs that :)

4:48 if you fully disable traction and stability controls by holding the button for 4 seconds, it won't auto up shift and will red line for a long time before it changes to D

With all the negative from the driver just remember not all of us drive like that. My '22 G70 2.0 Prestige RWD has more than adequate power and the handling is just fine. That bigger engine is not going to get thru those twisties any faster than the 2.0.

Great review. Its a shame they didnt put the 2.5T engine in the base G70 like they did in the Stinger. Seems like a nice car. Love the looks inside and out unlike the German counterparts

I believe the BMW 3-Series 2.0 L sells much better than the 3.0 L. So are most BMW owners cheating themselves out of BMW's much-vaunted performance? I think 4-cylinder engines are fine.
