Could some1 plz explain: what does the engine do in e-bikes? It drives instead of you, like on e-scooters? Or makes you move faster when you pedal it? Or makes it easier to pedal but you move with the same speed? Do I have to pedal the bike anyway?

Syncdrive Core motor with only 50nm. Are you kidding me? That couldn’t pull granny out of bed. I’m keeping my 2019 Fathom E+!

do you recommend buying that instead of this even though this is 3 years younger?
@johnchristopher50752 жыл бұрын
@@ABoxIsMyHome It pains me to say this but ummmm, yeah! The Talon is already a very heavy e-MTB and a motor of only 50nm simply ain’t gonna cut it out on the trails.

@@johnchristopher5075 you seem super wise on this subject in general, I wanna awesome road/light off road electric bike, if I find a second hand fathom would that be best or is there other bikes with better improvements you’d recommend? Cheers

Im 120kg heavy man and the time that i spent on my route is better for almost 50% so yes even if it is only 50nm, helps a lot

@@dinnoo89 On face value I wouldn’t disagree with you. 50nm is better than nothing and if you’re just using your bike to commute to work or the shops then you’re good to go but God help you if you expect anything more from a heavy bike only packing a small motor. Even using that bike for touring would be totally out of the question.
