Today we install a Carbon Fiber Duckbill Spoiler on my 2022 Toyota GR86! Thanks to @PrimitivePerformanceAuto for sending out the duckbill for the review :)
This Carbon Fiber High Kick Duckbill Trunk Spoiler is compatible with all 2022+ Toyota GR86 and Subaru BRZ models! It looks absolutely amazing, especially on the Halo White GR86! You need the new StreetHunter kit on this! It would look insane. I think they also have a carbon spoiler but might as well keep this one

I much prefer the stock rear spoiler on base. Just enough, conservative but tasteful.

How was the original factory spoiler put together? Was it with both 3M tape and bolts or just bolts? 🤔🤔 Thanks for the vid!

both tape and bolts, but i’m sure just extra strength 3M is more than good enough

Is halo white and the brz white pearl the exact color? The white spoiler looks clean but I can only find them for the gr86

Did you have to remove any adhesive from the trunk itself after getting the factory spoiler off??

Just picked up my halo Gr86. Looking for a ducktail. Would like the black one but I got 1 like this off Amazon for my 2016 Jetta and and the paint baked off after 6 months. Ima get it in carbon this time.

If you have the base model with no oem duckbill you can just put on the carbon fiber one without even taking off the trunk at all right?

Very slightly bigger, it’s based off the OEM Design though so hard to tell

Did you plug the holes from the oem lip?

Nope, just put the spoiler over them! You can reuse the holes if you want to bolt down the carbon fiber spoiler but I didn't feel like measuring all that lol

I do not understand how stupid people can be with there cars. You bought an automatic gr86 premium and replaced the premium spoiler with an ugly carbon fiber spoiler... can you say RICE?!?!?!. Bad judgment call, man.

Your opinion, all personal preference. I think Carbon looks good, same exact design as OEM Premium spoiler.
