2022 Hapalua - Hawaii's Half Marathon

Hawaii's premier half marathon starts in Waikiki, Honolulu.
Organized by the Honolulu Marathon Association the annual Hapalua is held in the first weeks of April.
The elite format is called The Chase, and invited professionals run against the best runners in Hawaii who get head starts based on recent form.
Sharon Lokedi from Kenya won the 2022 Chase. Ed Cheserek came in second having given Sharon an 8 minute head start.
There is no time limit at the Hapalua and the final finisher had a time of 7hrs 26 minutes.
