It's pricey because Harley-Davidson manufactures and forges even the bolts that go into that motorcycle. All America baby

What kind of power can you compare a Harley to in sports bikes so I can understand what kind of pull they have
@andrewmagee54062 жыл бұрын
The gearing and acceleration are totally different but probably like a Honda 650 or a kawasaki 600 to 750 cc .. somewhere there but Harleys have shorter gears that's for sure

I'd just go to a demo day or go test ride one man. I like sport bikes too but I don't see any reason to compare the two tbh

Looks AWESOME quick Question ... How many miles do you get before the fuel light comes on cheers
@jake-px9ue2 жыл бұрын
I've got one and I get about 120 before the light comes on. Another 50 to empty. Has a stage 1. Nothing else
@bretlagasse35602 жыл бұрын
@@jake-px9ue That's good to know. I ride 92 miles round trip to work. So I would have to fill up every day. But, I fill up every other day on my Vulcan now with 5 gallons.

for the love of God ... STOP redlining the engine on the test rides of brand new bikes !!!!!!!! this is rididculous honestly... I feel sorry for whoever buys the "new" bikes you "test drove" .😒😣🙄

People should know what they’re buying when they buy a dealer used bike..

Do the new engines still need break in? So many people with lots of different opinions. I would think taking it easy on somthing is best.

@@michaeldelio1870 M8 bike user guide states… first 50 miles it is absolutely crucial NOT to exceed 3000 rpm at all … not even little bit or for brief periods! It is pretty hard but definitely doable with some care. The RPM range and gears should vary as much as possible while not exceeding 3000 rpm. ( meaning stop and go traffic , twisties etc… ) After that occasionally getting to 3500 rpm is fine within first 500 miles. After that you can hammer it pretty much. The dealerships generally recommended not to exceed 3000 rpm first 1000 miles. Not sure if that carried over from older era motors or that is just to cover their ass…

Stupidly priced for mediocre performance. You can get a Ducati V4 Streetfighter for $20K. An H2 naked for like $17K or less. An R1, MT10, cb1000r, KTM Duke 890, Triumph Speed Triple, and on and on for well under $20k that are in another league compared to this…
@gobira262 жыл бұрын
because they are totally diferent bikes, ppl who buy a fat bob doesnt give a shit about Ducati horsepowers or Ninjas and R1.
@madrat51762 жыл бұрын
@@gobira26 Those we’re just comparisons showing what $20k and less can get you. A whole lot more than the Fat Bob offers. You want to look at cruisers, look at the triumph Rocket 3 for about the same price, and how much more that bike offers. I’ve had 3 Harleys and many other brands, and while Harleys are cool and do have character, the prices are absolutely absurd. Well over 10K for an 883 Sportster 😂

@@hassanj.anderson3307 , Then why waste your time watching a Harley Davidson video. Most people know that Harley's are not about performance or high technology.

And you came here to say all that? Seems a little silly to waste your precious time on Earth watching a review of a brand that you don't think much of.
