All I can say is this 117 is the ultimate highlight of the bike. The torque on this thing will make you have loads of fun no matter what road you're on! Terrific and well made machine that alot of you will want!

I love this bike, it's such fun. I just traded in my '18 Fat Bob for it. I love the classic look of this bike, if it were out in 2018 when I bought my Fat Bob, I would have got the LRS back then. I just put on a Stage III and Bassani Sweepers exhaust. It sounds so much better now, like an actual Harley.
@CumminsRam2 жыл бұрын
I am debating between both, what makes you like the lrs more?
@TalismanRocks2 жыл бұрын
@@CumminsRam - it came down to appearance honestly. I could never get used to the stock, rectangular shape of the Fat Bob's headlight. I even changed it out to a circle headlamp, but it sill did not look quite finished. To me, the LRS is just a classic looking bike. I think I have more miles now on my LRS just this summer than I did with a few years on the Fat Bob, I just really enjoy riding the LRS. I also feel more stable with the mid controls on the LRS than I did with the forwards on the Fat Bob.

Screaming eagle stage 3?
@TalismanRocks Жыл бұрын
@@dylancoric1194 - yeah I kept it simple and did all screaming eagle components. No complaints thus far. I'm not a power junkie, this bike is plenty fast for what I do (mostly just crusing around our back country roads and enjoying the wind on my face).

What's going on with the grey primer and a clear coat ??? They're doing this on cars now too.. Bring it out in Gauntlet Grey which is metallic silver, and it's mine.. maybe that's why next year the grey primer is being replaced with metallic cotton white. Can't wait.

What is the top speed on the bike? Also, for keeping up with the sports bike friends can the top speed be increased? New to bikes so forgive my ignorance.
@tomoates85682 жыл бұрын
According to google it's 120 mph. You could make it faster, but that's really expensive lol. That would involve something like installing a stage 4 kit to get 131 cubic inches instead of a 117
@OldGrimbeard2 жыл бұрын
@@tomoates8568 Appreciate the response. It’s my understanding the upgrade alone is around 3.5k? I wonder how much labor costs? Still, that is pretty pricey for a speed upgrade.
@tomoates85682 жыл бұрын
@@OldGrimbeard Oh yeah, upgrading the engine to get the increased speed is an extremely pricey upgrade. If that's your thing go for it. I plan on getting the Low Rider ST eventually because I like the fxrt style fairing, I think I'll be happy with just the 117 engine as it is

I just cringe when ppl "test riding " brand new bike and reving the engine to 5000 rpm . ...🙄😫😵 the first 50 miles are absolutely crutial for breaking in the bike...

I like the Harley look but too expensive. I can get more bang for the buck with a kawasaki, Yamaha, or Honda.
@tomoates85682 жыл бұрын
There's pros and cons to this vs one of the metric bikes. The metrics generally are cheaper and typically have more tech, but if you want to really customize your bike the aftermarket support for Harleys is far better. That's why I'm looking at this bike even though it is overpriced for sure lol

True and it will look generic and sound like a scooter. Win you sell it you will lose thousands. Heavy, loud iron is a whole other arena.
