First few half shiny fails, just makes me question why they removed sparkles or sound cue in the overworld. I understand its to make shinies harder to find and more rare, but for those who have visually impairment (or in this case, lack of knowledge of how shinies look); is just an invitation to miss these pokemon. Hopefully something next gen will take on, but tough for those who missed.

As someone who accidentally stumbled upon a Shiny Deerling, I can confirm…..the shiny is not worth it, LOL! At least not for the evolution, where they got rid of the pink, literally the main indicator to it being a shiny. The only difference is that it is slightly darker brown, which sucks.
