I bought 2007 Odyssey EXL new and currently has 227K mi. on it. Should I have to buy another minivan, I will pick Sienna Platinum because: It has 3D bird eyes view camera. Power Folding side mirrors. A 36MPG, and last but not least, an AWD available. The only thing I don't like about Sienna is CVT transmission. Odyssey is more powerful but I don't like the push button shift gears.
@miguelborromeo60103 жыл бұрын
Like you - i stayed away from the CVT belt coz i know belts have a low MTBF number. What i didnt know is that Toyota Hybrids stopped using belts (CVT) since 2012. All Toyota Hybrids use eCVT which is not a belt. Instead it uses planetary gears and 2 electric motors. Watch any video from WeberAuto - like this one kzbin.info/www/bejne/hWeUiJyegreXoK8.

Can either of these fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back with the seats out?? Do they have AM/FM/CD player or do you have to buy a subscription to have music?
@alvinsimba7342 жыл бұрын
No more CD players in vehicles of today. So if you have saved some music on your computer, they can be transferred to a USB drive which you can plug into USB slot and play, thats the cheap way if one is frugal. The other option is have a spotify or Apple account where you pay a month fee of around $12 a month then you can play any music you want. If it's too much money per month, then the USB route is the best.

Our six siblings families all owned Toyota, some Honda. None complaint about any of the models we own. The only one that don't last long are the one got into a major accident. I bought my Toyota Sienna 2006 at the end of 2006. After having it, I got rid of the truck and the sport car, because my Sienna can do both. It has 3 rounds of mileages and still no issue as of today. Due to high insurance cost, my teen gave me his 2018 Prius Prime and took my 2006 Sienna. With the plug-in, it shows 125MPG , but I can't load lumbers or large item into the Prius Prime. My next car should be another minivan, but has to be hybrid, plug-in hybrid or EV. I like the new trim of Toyota Sienna.

Sienna should be dead last in the minivan market. The unremovable 2nd row makes the Sienna less practical than all other minivans (aside from Pacifica Hybrid) and less practicality defeats the purpose of the minivan. Even though the 2018-2019 Odyssey had issues, the 2022 has addressed these issues.
