Be careful with threadlocker. Thermoplastic windshield may crack if gets contact with thread glue.

Glad you're testing these options so I don't have to. I'm curious how you make out with the windshield and those side racks. Please keep us posted. As for the seat, I did the same with mine and had the same thought about the two "Honda" words but concluded that it beat the alternative. Good luck!

Windshield is OK but I prefer without it because without the wind pushing you back, you end up putting quite a bit weight on your hands. This makes my hands all tingly. The side racks, however, have added huge amounts of versatility to the bike. A must have.

I think your windshield is perfect used to have a c90 in uk with a similar wind shield was a 1984 model now have a 2023 c 125 2 weeks old here in USA love it!!wonderfull bike!

I elected to go with the single long "dual" seat. I added the extended rear rack in order to have my cake and eat it too -- dual seat and top box. For anyone contemplating adding the seat (either one), side rails, and extended rack -- the three tab stack up for the rear nut on both sides - the stock socket head bolts are 8x22 and I had to change to 8x25. I'll be adding the foot pegs soon. I also installed the middle rack, and purchased the fitted bag. I had a C-70 Passport back in the day with a front rack/basket - and purchased that for the C125. I went with a tall windshield. You have been quite the inspiration. Thank you.

I like that mounting orientation of the brackets. The instructions don't seem to indicate to setup the windshield in that manner. I have it mounted differently, but I like that method better. Raising the windshield up and angling it just a tad back might fix the buffeting.

I like all you have done , like the seat as you can still use for storage , like the live , like ,play , unique , I would go with leather or nylon soft bags , eliminate wind and crash possibilities , puig windshield is great . 😊

mount in two long horizontal metal brackets to the top two mounts for side bag mount that the other ends are parallel and extend past your pillion seat and connect them allowing you to elongate the bike with storage further without widening it. Just remember to add brake light space for viewing with supplementation. cheers

I have the same wind screen on my Supercub.I could never get to 60mph untill I got it .I also have the same issue with my mirrors.I have some mirror extenders ordered that should help that.

Silver for the side racks. I can’t imagine someone taking off the chain guard cover, it will make the chain last a lot longer, and it wouldn’t be a Cub without it. The windshield is okay looking, but I’ve owned about 15 bikes and I never had one. Gotta draw the line somewhere for looks. 😎

They make a lot of kits , you can put a cargo side car with a fold down seat for passengers, the options are endless, you can even make it into a tuctuc, look on KZbin , Some guy in Thailand has made dozens of different models with the same bikr

Ide really like to know how you were able to mount the rear foot pegs. I have a 2020 model. Great video AL. Nice bike 🏍. Do those two foot pegs caps come out on each side? Or did you drill them and tap them?

You have to drill and tap them, but it really was not that big of a deal. Bought the kit from O’Reilly‘s auto parts. Used plenty of oil and didn’t try to tap the whole thing in one go Went back-and-forth. So those are not caps. It’s a solid metal rod.

My windshield kept tilting back from the wind, so I tightened up those screws and it stays now. For it to come off it must have been flipping around like crazy before that.

I tightened the piss out of them, but it turns out I like better without the windshield. The wind pushing me back keeps the weight off of my hands. It’s also way more quiet.

The weld broke on one, but it’s an easy fix. I was definitely overloading it.

I had to takeoff that battery cover thing, partially install the rack, then reinstall the cover. A bit tedious but glad I did it.
