I bought a 2022 Accent SEL on July 1st. 2 months and 2400 miles later so far I love it! The back seats are a bit tight, but okay for smaller people. Plenty of room in the front seat for a 6 foot, 235 pound guy like me. Very comfortable ride for It's size, plenty of power to merge and move along with traffic. And the best part is I'm averaging 45 mpg! Even at $4.50 a gallon, I fill the 11.6 gallon tank for about 35 bucks, and it shows a range of 400 miles! I usually put the transmission in sport mode around town, and then switch it back to normal mode on the highway. I paid a total of 22K for mine with the extra warranty, and rustproofing that they sold me on, and so far I'm very pleased with it. Hyundai also gives you a free trial of SiriusXM radio, 5 years of roadside assistance, and the first 3 years of oil changes and tire rotation for free. Pretty much worry free driving for the first few years, just make the monthly payments Lol! I heard that the Accent's being discontinued after this year, so get one while you still can.

@TonyKimtheamusementparkfan11 ай бұрын
I honestly would take this over a lot of its competitors, particularly the Nissan Versa. I think Hyundai provides a better overall package with the Accent, and I like the transmission better in the Accent. This IVT transmission is very responsive and smooth, and definitely going to be more reliable with its chain belt rather than the standard metal belt that’s in Nissan’s CVT. Nissan’s CVT is not bad, but I’ve heard many stories of it malfunctioning terribly, and they’ve been doing it for years, so surprising that Nissan hasn’t listened to the complaints that people have with their CVT. And for $19k, that is an insane bargain.

The SEL comes with the addition of telescoping steering wheel, rear disk brakes, 15" alloy wheels versus steel wheels with hub caps, A 7" infotainment screen versus a 5" screen in the base SE. Also the SEL includes fog lights and an arm rest that is adjustable forward and back with small storage beneath. A blind spot mirror for the drivers side, heated mirrors and lower chrome window trim. This is a great buy under $20,000. You should also mention the 1.6 liter is dual port injected instead of direct gas injected. Therefore no carbon build up on the intake vales. This engine also has Hyundais new continuous variable valve duration (CVVD) technology which has increased the mpg to 41 mpg highway. The Accent also has more interior room than the Toyota Corolla.

@@nickpgr10 I would go with the accent. There great cars and a lot of them last to 300k miles depending on how you take care of it. Cheap fixes, cheap tires, cheap insurance. Gas is awesome as well. @brunothepug88072 жыл бұрын
Leu, your right on this as to all the active safety the new Versa has. I have struggled to choose between the two. Accent has that long warranty, 3 years of free maintenance and no bad history with the CVT like Nissan's are known for. New Versa is sleeker and more soft touch points. But Accent has nice mature look, I'm 61, a little Audi-ish in the grill and much better rear lights than the Versa. Big thing is mid-trim SV Versa lacks an armrest! That is a must have for me to be comfortable on trips. Gas mileage seems the same. So I have a SEL Accent on order.
