@mga712 жыл бұрын
@@JeffGoris personal preference I guess but improved acceleration thats debatable in my opinion with all due respect.
@JeffGoris2 жыл бұрын
@@mga71 I don't see how it is debatable. During max acceleration, the CVT revs to the engine's peak power and holds it there using its continuously variable gears. That's the pergect way to accelerate. A DCT (or any other gearbox I've seen) revs to peak power and beyond, has a moment where there is no power transmitted to the wheels, then applies less than peak power as it accelerates from the next gear. Those moments of zero power, even if only 10 ms and the fact that less than peak power is being applied a lot of the time mean that it cannot match the performance of a CVT. I know CVT has its downsides, but acceleration is not one of them.

No it's not. It's drives way worse than this . Transmission is worse. It's slower and significantly less performance on track

sorry, but it can't be a true sports car with front wheel drive only. this is where the WRX has the edge.

And the gr yaris rallye has a big edge over the wrx.

Its still just a Hyundai and will never be an iconic car company. Is there such a thing as a 10yr old registered Hyundai. Throw away cars

Lmao a Subaru wrx destroyer!? Yeah right!! See what that looks like when you go to re-sale it…. Subaru with one of the greatest residual values vs Hyundai with literally one of the worst re-sale values as brands go.

Yeah, Subaru resale value is so good that I used my 2018 WRX to trade in and buy this Elantra N (i-30 N). Lmao This is just a better car. New WRX is ugly as sin with plastic cladding and a 40k USD price tag. No thanks. I won't miss the AWD that much.

This is holding its value more than the WRX . Idiot
