Why do some of the regular SEL’s have this very nice digital dash in front of the steering wheel whereas other one’s have a much more basic (older Hyundai Sonata) look?

Interior looks a lot like the Audi RS. They are definitely putting more features than the competitors at the starting price.

not even close. kia/Hyundai hired audi's former guy who designs the vehicles so ever since the Stingers first appearance , there's take aways from both Audi & BMW. since then it's a copy & paste. even Honda took the similar design for their remodeled vehicles, shame their acura has literally honda interior. But I wouldn't gloat that they're putting more features than competitors. My opinion

I have a 2021 Sonata SEL base. It's Hampton Gray and very good looking. The light gray interior is much more attractive than black. I love the car. It's not particularly quiet, but not noisy either. Very well equipped for the price. Mine was 27K

This one, i was actually comparing those as well before i decided on the sonata sel with convenience package. Price, features, warranty, all seemed just better overall compared to the more expensive options.

Not a fan of the push-button shifter and instead of putting the 2.5 l motor in The limited they put it in the SEL and give a 1.6 l turbo which gives no better horsepower or gas mileage to the more expensive limited model which is a downgrade because they were stuck a 1.6 l turbo into it. Hate the grey interior. That was part of why I had to limited in the past as I loved My camil beige interior in my 2015 sonata my 2015 sonata limited is much prettier than the 20 22 or 23

I always shut off the traction control and safety aids. They're garbage. I prefer the 2.5 to the 1.6T. This is 5th Sonata we're leasing. The 1.6T is quicker. And you're overselling the 2.5. It's just not THAT quick. But will get you to 60 will be in under 8 seconds.

This is the motor that should have been in The Limited. So deeply disappointed
