For the price, that manual window is absolutely unacceptable.

I quite like the quirky design, reminds me of something Citroen might come up with
@raymondyeow24783 жыл бұрын
Somehow this reminds me of Toyota Sienta in the sense that the quirky design will mean either people love it or hate it. I may be wrong, but in the end, for the price point, buyers will end up opting for the 'safe' choices in Vellfire or Alphard

For people that looking for more space n power, Staria will be the choice.
@ildico3 жыл бұрын
Hyundai fails to make Staria looks premium as compared to its competitors. Although the materials used are so-called glorious, but didn’t seem like one. Thank God it’s fully equipped with Hyundai Smart Sense and also the space and practicality is unmatched. However the hefty price of RM370k doesn’t justify this spaceship existence.

Hyundai and Kia have overtaken the cheap looking exterior look of japanese counterparts....making japanese cars so yesteryears.
@danielseehp3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely love the futuristic design! Although the interior is abit of a let down with too much van like features. But boy, oh boy that exterior is sweet

The 'boss' window is the biggest setback. Even mid range MPVs nowadays don't use that no more
@illicit0x3 жыл бұрын
Hyundai sure tried to make it look premium, but for rm300k, being constantly reminded that you are baaically in a pimped out van is not a good feeling

The van roots are too strong for the asking price. Will still choose a Vellfire.
@fazz273 жыл бұрын
What I'd want to know is how comfortable this rides (face it, this is what matters most) vs the Alphard / Vellfire vs the Carnival. Hope to watch a comparison test on big MPVs sometime.
@pentecost_3 жыл бұрын
I don't think the kind of people buying MPVs at this price segment really care about price at all, so to the people comparing between this and the Toyota and the price they're at, no it doesn't really matter unless you're in the M40 class (which also means you're not their target market). Potential buyers will choose which design and features speak to them instead. They'll pick this if they want something fresh looking with bigger interior space and are tired of sitting around in Alphards for the past 6 years.
@koowilliam3 жыл бұрын
One feature I like about Vellfire is they have hidden compartment that you can keep your stuff neatly hidden. I owned a Starex it does not have this feature and I failed to notice it in Staria either. In Starex most of the compartment design is not very practical, like the two cup holder located at the middle seat. They can barely hold regular size cup and if emergency brake sure spill. I rather get a Vellfire for the same price.
@limmingjun79303 жыл бұрын
I don't mind if they take a van and and make it mpv but please make it more like a car than a van if u want to do that...
@poovaneswaransupramaniam193 жыл бұрын
Quirky design, but it does not mask its utilitarian van roots well, plus for the asking price, the rear bench seats does not have isofix mounts....what was hsdm thinking...especially for the asking price..

Quick fact: The Staria we get is known as the Staria Lounge in Korea, which has the same base price as the Palisade there. (So as Indonesia) We didn't get the regular Staria which is priced similar to the SantaFe in Korea

Design wise, exterior looks fantastic, interior could been better, well the idea for the "boss" window for me personally is a bit of a let down same goes to the rear windows, It made me feel nostalgic lmao when I used to go to school using a van.. and the struggle to open a seized sliding window is real..
