Rev, I went to the demo 2 weekends ago. Super impressed with the chief bobber dark horse. Sport mode can get quite insane. Great bike. My only concern is aftermarket support , not too many options available

I don't think it's as pretty as the M8 Softail Slim or the Deluxe but i like the almost gooseneck look to the Chief frame and the fact that it's a true air cooled engine, no oil cooler radiator at all though Harley does a clean looking oil cooler. Any idea what the suspension is like vs the Softail single shock? Kind of surprised Indian didn't go with the modern single in the back.

A little over 1,800 miles on the Chief Dark Horse so far. Thing rips, yeah, but the handling is what gets me every. single. day. I’ve ridden the new Rebel 1100, plenty of Softtails and Dynas, plenty of Japanese bikes of all kinds. Haven’t found one that handles in such a satisfying manner! Impressed so far! Sport mode is stupid fun and dangerous if you’re not ready for the jump haha.

Looks awesome, but that single rotor upfront is a mistake. It's all 'fine and dandy' until SHTF and you need stopping power but you don't have it. I've had 2-3 of those on my 330kg cruiser and those were cheek-clenching moments. And that digital gauge throws the styling off. You want class and style...and then put on a Samsung smartwatch. But other than that, looks awesome.

Man great question….. This particular bike with the stage 2? I would go with the chief bobber all day. It has forward controls, more power, and more accessories within the bike. I think I like how the FLRS looks more than the Indian, but that’s about it. The LRS has mid controls and and uncomfortable shift lever IMO. But I didn’t get a chance to ride the chief bobber completely stock. One point for the Harley though……after market parts. Just easier to find but I still think I would choose the chief bobber.

Great video! I'm looking to upgrade bikes. I purchased have a 2011 HD sportster 1200XL, which has been a great bike to learn how to ride on. I'm privy to the bobber style classic cruiser bikes. I'm 6'3, 230 - so I'm a bit big for the current bike I'm on, and am looking to also get a bit more of a punch on the bike for the 30 minute commute to work on the highway. I feel like the smaller bike I'm on gets blown around a little bit whenever we get winds (live in Wyoming, they can get crazy) - and it feels like I'm lacking a bit of power when it comes to really getting up to speed when I need it. I'm for sure going to test ride one of these soon as I can get close to an Indian dealer. Would love other recommendations based on that tid-bit if anyone wants to drop me something - it'd be greatly appreciated!

I so regret watching this video as a newbie I am looking for my second bike, been riding 2 years honda rebel 500 was the first and only bike I have ever ridden at age 42, only rode huffy's from walmart, lol, just sold rebel 3 weeks ago and looking for something cooler better, I was leaning softtail slim Harley davidson, now I am considering this bike, wtf

🤣🤣🤣 I regretted riding it hahaha. But no seriously it was a great riding and smooth bike. I’ll be talking about it soon but I think for me, Indians are almost too pretty to ride. They’re both expensive bikes, but Indian has a more progressive approach to their bikes for newer riders. There’s just something about my Harley that keeps me turning my head though. And it can always be faster 😉

OK man, you got me stopped at 20:00 when trying to play the middle man, because if you said anything bad about Harley, they wouldn't let you take out their bikes. Also, don't mean to be rude, but why are you doing a review on an Indian, without doing your research? Hint: Indian engines have a shorter stroke...look at Fortnine to get a better understanding.

Harley has no control over my channel, so I give my honest, usually very positive, input on the bikes I do review. And basically I do what I want lol.

Is it the Harley killer? Every bike is a HD killer. HD is so far behind the curve in technology with their engines. Cubic inch for cubic inch almost every bike has more HP and TQ then HD. They are an institution and that is why they sell.

Why is it that no one says anything about the horsepower for this bike? Not one reviewer says anything except torque, don’t leave us specs nerds hanging! Is Indian saying don’t reveal it or something cause it’s not even on their website.
