Boothy, massive respect to you. Undertaking the TT and NW200 takes enough balls, but to release a video like this in such good spirits when you are going through what you are takes some real cajones. I am glad you uploaded this. It shows why people like you do this and the love they have for the sport. There were some HORRIBLE outcomes for some of the riders this year and I know its hard to think this way but you were lucky. 5 people died at the TT this year and Boothy lost a leg amongst other injuries. There is no other sporting event in the world as dangerous and I truly respect all the riders and their families for supporting them. They don’t do it for the money, just the love of racing. I salute you Boothy and hope you recover quickly.

Thank God your crash wasn’t fatal. One thing the TT has taught me is people can and do return to race again after injuries, even very serious ones. I imagine the road to recovery probably feels very long right now; however I, for one, can already picture “Bounce-back Boothy” flying again! All the best 👍🏻

Boothy my heart broke this year man. I’ve always adored the TT, I think the Snafel Mt Course is like nothing else on earth, and I try to understand it every year but the coverage in the US has always been hard to find. This was the first year it was live and I was up at 4AM waiting for it to start. I just had such a bad feeling about the big gap between this years race and the last time. Watching it live and realizing that someone has crashed and past in real time was a lot to contend with and I can’t even begin to imagine what it’s like for the people that knew anyone personally.

Massive respect for Boothy and all riders. Took my ZX10R over this year and its just the most amazing place. The mountain section was bonkers and I only hit 130ish. There were guys passing me a good 30-40mph quicker than me. Every one of you lads are true heroes. Get well soon lad 🤞🤞🤞

That’s a tough watch Boothy and I can’t begin to imagine the journey home for George, Udders and any other family/friends. Looking well now though so onwards and upwards. Nothing left for the young ones bar the T.T. Everything else is health and safety and do as we say not as we do etc etc etc This really is the last of what I at 70 years young see in the life I was lucky enough to have. The young today are in cuffs before they start and the so called do gooders do not have a clue ?? Sorry to get heavy here but its something so so close to my heart. The young today do not stand a chance as an example yesterday in Warrington 2 police bikes stopped a kid on a scooter for riding on the pavement you know one of those with a little electric engine/motor 2 coppers then spent I kid you not one hour on the road side firstly telling him off and then I guess waiting for another vehicle to pick up the scooter which they had conviscated Long live the T.T. to keep us and the young ones sane !!!!!!
