2022 Jaguar F-Type R 575 AWD Review

Jaguar launched the F-Type in 2014 offering it with 4, 6 and 8 cylinder engines. It was given a significant facelift in 2021 and the 4 and 6 cylinder engines were dropped to make it a more focused performance car. The 2022 F Type R is available with the P450 V8 with 444 hp and either rear wheel or all-wheel drive, and the P575 with 575 hp and all-wheel drive only, rear-wheel drive isn’t available.
Our stunning 2-door F-Type R 575 coupe is bathed in Sorrento Yellow Ultra Metallic Paint which is a $6,100 CAD option. This color makes a very big statement. If you want to tone it down a bit, there are lots of other colors to choose from including the classic British Racing Green which is an $850 CAD option.

I bought my fourth Jag in 2014. It is a black R-type. In the years I've owned it the only major expense was a new soft top and a new generator. it has been amazingly reliable - something I can't honestly say about the three earlier ones. I think Jag finally got it right.

Where's the reliability with the new f types? That's the only thing that scares me away from these cars.

I bought a 2023 F Type P450. Absolutely love it. Regarding reliability the latest versions have an awesome reliability record. Plus, they now come with a 5 year warrantee that covers both mechanical and maintenance. So basically cost free for 5 years. During that 5 years, if there are any bugs, they should all be worked out leaving you with a solid vehicle. I have a friend who bought a 2017 and has had zero issues. In other words, go for it. You will be glad you did.
