Jetour Dasheng comes in both ICE and PHEV plug-in hybrid versions. The ICE version comes in two engine options: 1.5L turbo with 6-speed manual and 6-speed DCT that produces 156hp of power and a peak torque of 230Nm, as well as 1.6L turbo with 7-speed DCT gearbox good for 197hp and 290Nm. The PHEV version comes equipped with a 1.5L turbo engine and a 3-speed DHT gearbox, with a maximum power of 326hp and peak torque of 565Nm.
Inside the simple yet impressive interior features multi-color ambient lighting, a double-D-cut multi-function steering, a 12.8-inch digital info display, a HUD projection screen, and a large 15.6-inch touchscreen multimedia unit which is equipped with the third-generation Snapdragon high-performance chip, and supports AutoNavi, Tencent, and Baidu navigation maps.
To attract those young buyers, the Jetour Dasheng features a progressive design with sharply cut lines and sporty touches. It also has pop-out door handles and large 20-inch alloy wheels. The front boasts a split-headlight setup and a grille that protrudes into the car’s body. The rear features a boomerang-styled taillight design, a roof spoiler, and a diffuser-style bumper.
