Happy New Year! The suit doesn't look like the Seishin from a previous video. After some experience, would you still recommend the Seishin or something else? Best regards from Germany, Hermann Josef

You are correct, in this video I was wearing a Shureido New Wave 2 Gi, which is my favorite Shureido gi. The Seishin Okinawa edition gi is also very comfortable and I highly recommend it as a daily karate gi. The Seishin Okinawa edition is amazingly comfortable from the first time I wore it and years later. The only problem is I bought the Seishin gi a little too large and over the past two year I dropped ~10kgs (with proper diet and more exercise) and now the Seishin gi is even larger on me. So, it's not really an equal comparison to my Shureido New Wave 2 which is smaller. I will say also that I did not like the sleeve opening on the Seishin when I was do kobudo, specifically sai, as the sai would seems to get caught in the sleeve opening. That's not a major issue as I have other gi's to wear when doing kobudo and once again, maybe due to the size being a little too large for me. All-in-all I am very happy with the Seishin Okinawa edition (I do not own any other Seishin model). Hope that helps.

@@okinawakaratepodcast Wow, thank you very much for the detailed answer! I'm currently torn between Shureido and Hirota, but I can also easily imagine a Seishin now.
