We have a 21 Venue SEL which is the mid trim model. Probably should have gotten the Soul as it has more cargo room, but I do prefer the styling of the Venue. Great video as always.

Thanks so much for watching! Yeah, I have a Soul as well. The Soul seems to be the perfect size point for my family. The Venue does offer a few features at a lower price, but the Soul offers a little more space and it's no more difficult to drive or park.

Much preferred the Soul EX over the Venue, styling, more zip, fun to drive, better screen, way more comfy to sit in. Bought a '21 EX and really like it. Gets 32MPG combined.

I ended up with the 2023 Lunar Orange and I love it I get so many compliments on the colour….it’s a very underrated colour!….I want to say though Peter the new 2023 soul has greatly improved on the ride quality it is so quiet and smooth in comparison I was so relieved 😄….also you can’t even hear the engine running..I also want to say if you are on a tighter budget go with the EX it’s the best bang for your buck and you get the LED lights which are beautiful!

Sorry, I missed this comment earlier! I haven't driven the 2023 Kia Soul yet. I was able to spend some time at Kia Canada's head office with a few, yet to be released models this past month though, and I am confident that Kia continues to head in the right direction.

The Kia Soul seems to be a better buy. More cargo space and rear leg room. Only slightly longer than the Venue (165 inches compared to Venue's 159 inches). The Hyundai Venue has better styling. That's about it.

Thanks for watching. It's funny because everyone sees these vehicles differently. I'm biased as I happen to own a Kia Soul EV, but I think the Soul has better styling, and the argument can be made that you can get key features on the Venue at a lower price than you can get them on the Soul. The Venue introduced things like Wireless Android Auto and Wireless Apple CarPlay before the Soul had them, and the Venue has more drive modes etc. So it really depends on who's looking at these cars to decide which one is better for them. I think Gabi and Charlotte are doing a great job over there, and I have to be very honest to say that changing things up has been the best career decision that I've made. I still get to do daily videos, but I also have so much more time to spend in other things. I have more time with my family, I'm involved in some really interesting business projects outside of KZbin, and I'm accomplishing several life goals that I've had. Leaving that behind was the right thing for me.

I think they did that so people would buy the SEL. If the Limited had a sunroof, most people would opt for it with all the other features it has.

Are there any crossovers like the venue but bigger? I rented the Venue for a weekend and loved it-- however I have 3 older kids so they're not always driving with me but occasionally will. Ideally I need something a little bigger.

That's a tough one to answer. There are several crossovers that are a little bigger, but when you say you want something like the Venue, what specifically did you like about the Venue. That might help me, and other people in the comments direct you to something that suits you.

The 2.0 has more power and is probably more enjoyable to drive with, but the 1.6 has been known to be extremely reliable over the years. I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

Great car! I'm partial to the Soul, myself, but I own a Kia Soul EV, and I think the biggest reason that I like it is because the Electric Powertrain really sets it apart. Thanks for commenting and sharing your thoughts!

Souls are super cute Venues are "🤓 smart" British looking, like Korea's answer to the Mini Cooper..only Venue is better built. Unfortunately with the thefts of 🗝️ keys start Kias and Hyundais, I'd go ahead and get the Venue 🙄

I'm not sure where you're watching from, bit Canadian vehicles were equipped differently than American vehicles and therefore don't have the theft issue that the American cars have been having. So both of the vehicles in this video would be fine for you based on your concerns.
