Overview
The 2023 Kia Sportage should separate itself from the throng of compact crossovers with its truly extroverted styling. The Kia's unconventional face features a set of alien-looking headlights and a distinct grille design. Its bodywork is sleek and muscular, and its taillights draw comparisons to those on the new all-electric Kia EV6. We don't know what powertrains the U.S.-spec Sportage will have, but they'll likely be shared with the recently redesigned Hyundai Tucson, with which it shares a platform. That suggests a 187-hp four-cylinder engine will be standard; a hybrid or plug-in hybrid could also be offered. Likewise, we think the 2023 Sportage could be available with a turbo-four that makes around 280 horsepower, especially if it's inherited from the mid-size Sorento SUV.
What's New for 2023?
The 2023 Sportage introduces an all-new generation when it reaches showrooms presumably sometime early next year. The current generation is unchanged for the 2022 model year. While we've now seen images and learned specific details about the global version of the all-new Sportage, we'll get more details about the U.S. spec when it's revealed in July 2021.

Kia hasn't said how much the 2023 Sportage will cost or exactly what trim levels will be available. We expect its current lineup to be similar to the next generation, and we don't expect each model to be priced much higher than they currently are.
Interior, Comfort, and Cargo
Inside, the Sportage looks to make an impression with a snazzy design highlighted by a huge digital display on the dashboard and other various eye-catching details. The images we've seen show an attractive two-tone color scheme, and the shape of the air vents on the dash are particularly distinct. The center console boasts a rotary shift knob, a push-to-start button, and myriad other controls that blend into the piano-black bezel. The new Sportage will also have more cargo and passenger space than its predecessor.
Infotainment and Connectivity
Kia's latest infotainment software will run through a 12.0-inch touchscreen that's part of a huge display on the dashboard that also includes another 12.0-inch screen for the gauge cluster. While we don't know if this digital duo will be standard across the lineup, we expect Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality to be on all models. We also know that wireless smartphone charging and a Harman Kardon premium stereo will be available.
Safety and Drive-Assistance Features
The new Sportage will be offered with a variety of standard and optional driver-assistance technology. The roster will include everything from navigation-based adaptive cruise control and a remote parking feature that's essentially the same as Hyundai's Smart Park system. For more information about the Sportage's crash-test results, visit the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) websites. Key safety features will likely include:
Standard forward-collision warning and automated emergency braking
Standard lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist
Available blind-spot monitor and rear cross-traffic alert
Warranty and Maintenance Coverage
Kia boasts one of the best warranty plans out there, with the longest powertrain warranty in the industry. However, it lacks the complimentary maintenance of competitors such as Toyota and even its corporate sibling, Hyundai.
Limited warranty covers five years or 60,000 miles
Powertrain warranty covers 10 years or 100,000 miles
No complimentary scheduled maintenance

Je ne suis pas fan a l'origine des SUV mais celui la est parfait. Design extraordinaire dans sa finition GT Line et certainement sans equivalent niveau tarif / option. Les allemendes n'ont qu'a bien se tenir. KIA tape vraiment très fort surtout dans l'art de mettre en valeur leurs auto dans se genre de spot. Chapeau.

I absolutely love everything about this vehicle. I love the design not too busy exterior and really really love the interior. The minimal use of silver I prefer the black. Love the coat holder and the storage on the back of the seats. Time to trade my 2010 kia which have been a very reliable car.

Practically the same vehicle underneath the shell. I own a 2021 Tucson. I have owned a Sportage in the past. Nice job Kia and the GT Line looks well. Two different looks on the outside so it is up to personal choice.

Did they fix the engine problems though? Seized bearings and bent rod bearings along with piston slap? Im pissed that my 2015 Sportage has no recall. Yet others with the same engine do like Hyundai Santa Fe.
