Picked one up 2 weeks ago. I replaced my YZ250. I loved my YZ. This is the best all around 2 stroke I have ever ridden. Stable, safe, fast and peppy. I ride at the the track and woods with stock suspension. Works great!

I have the 2021 Husqvarna TC 250, bought it new last year. Absolutly love the bike! Engine is very strong and reliable and especially the handling is great.

Great review Josh, I've been waiting for a test on the new model. It looks so sweet. I have an 18 model with the last orange frame and have been holding off on a new one until the orange frame came back. Unfortunately, I called my dealer about getting a new one, he said they are all sold out already everywhere! May have to turn mine into a 300.

I was in the shop there at KRW. I couldn’t believe how little the bike was. I literally walked up to it after looking at the 300’s and said ”what is this bike?" It is very much smaller than older 250s. I thought to myself "wow this thing would be so flickable" I want one.

Dude I absolutely love the 21+ air fork, you have to fin bleed any fork. Buy the works connection bleeders and be done. I check my air pressure once in the morning.

Get the Yamaha out 125 and 250. I'm a Kawasaki 2stroke guy since 84 and riding my 2006 KX250 which is bullet proof and damn fast. Yamaha has my full attention now!

@@derailleurmind0454 👌, its going to be interesting now that Yamaha are committed to their 2strokes and possibly wanting a bigger share of the 2stroke motocross market. If their's high demand for the new YZ's the other's will be watching closely. I've ridden the KTM 250 and the Husky 250 the power is fantastic but the bikes are way to fat across the tank and radiators. It hurts me to say blue is looking better and better.

It's good to see 2 strokes still going strong. It's a lot cheaper and easier to rebuild the top end yourself.

I would argue that my 2022 TC250 feels Way torquier off the bottom than my old 2016 yz250. The only place where the yz felt "better" was over-rev/staying on the pipe. That makes you "feel" faster but the lap times did not confirm that feeling.

Candian motocross racers definitely should be racing a 250 2 Stroke in the 250 class! And it is perfectly legal.

I think they should weed out the orange color. Don’t get ride of the orange because it defines KTM but just add it as a border to plates and many other pieces. The other color would be some silver in there as well to match all the aluminum on the bike. Last is I would start using custome seats with multi color to blend with the sides

It would be no contest. The 250T (2 strokes) are much faster than the 250F (4 strokes). I own one of each. The real race is between the 250T and the 450F. That's where the real battle is. In fact, back in the day, 250T did race in the 450F class when 4 strokes first came on the market.

What would be cool to see is the 250 2 strokes and the 450 4 strokes go at it and the 125 2 strokes and the 250 4 strokes go at it.

@@steelshotproductions in the amatuer ranks 250t and 250f can race each other and it's actually very even with most championships being won by 250f riders. As to 250t vs 450f it's not even a comparable anymore 450's are just way too powerful, tractable and light these days

Veryt good, fair evaluation that doesnt position a 2 Stroke as a woods bike - these bikes are pure race motocross and will eat up a 250 4 stroke and compete with a 450 4 stroke.

I have the TC250 '22, its exactly the same but husky has some lowered swing arm... I keep bottom it out at the rear :( Im 140lb, SAG at 103 (yes, should add at least 2mm but gonna try 107mm) should this help? compression is on the hard side, rebound a little fast

Nice review. Im definitely a fan of the fmf gnarly pipe and end up on the stock muffler. Also the kreft moto power dial helps tune the power valve quickly. What pv spring did you run? Stock?

I would say unless you are a solid B rider you shouldn't get a 250 two stroke. maybe the new ones with injection and electronic power valve will be more linear and user friendly but the 2016 to 2022 were pretty potent and definitely could get away from you.

@@williampollock1274 Different material is the answer here, KTM uses a chromoly steel frame while the Japanese brands use aluminum. Steel is heavier, stronger and more flexible, while aluminum is lighter, not as strong, and not able to flex as much.
