To me, speed champions are the pinnacle of lego building right now. Its like the designers have just been given free reign to do as they please, there's no way anyone e is ever gonna work out those interior builds and connections just from pictures. These sets over the last two years, along with the minifig tumbler, have perhaps been my favourite building experiences in my 40 years of lego building. Incredible.

We must demand Lego stop using stickers in new sets and release parts used in all sets but with everything printed on them to order replacement, and also to release printing sources for all stickers so we can print our own replacement in vinyls that are more durable in case we can't order replacement parts with prints on them. Also they should re release all sets that used stickers with prints on parts now. Stickers on Lego must die!!!

I LOVE this collection...I can't get enough! I was so opposed to the change to 8 stud wide, since they dont fit well within our city, but the MONSTER LEAP in detail has now won me over!! That Lambo and the angles they achieved at the rear had me speechless as I built it...just WOW!! I just need more every year! I love the price point as well. Not have a 50.00 set this year was a great business decision. For 30 and 40 bucks for the 2 car sets was so RIGHT!!

I love speed champions , they’re pretty affordable to collect compared to other Lego sets and also have some customization options like being able to swap out rims or changing the suspension

While I myself am not into the Speed Champions sets, these look pretty cool. Out of all of them you built, the Lamborghini looks like my favorite especially the design of the mini fig. Great job.

I started back to LEGO this year, 2022, because of two things... 1.) Speed Champions being redone to slightly bigger design to allow for a proper driver and passenger, and all out better design that is allowed due to the bigger size than the CITY scale (I believe thats the scale they used to be when they only allowed for the one driver in the center design? Correct me if I am wrong Bricksie?) 2.) BRICKSIE! Because I found you here on KZbin Bricksie, and realized that LEGO could bring my kids and I closer together while secretly living out my childhood LEGO fantasies nowadays as a adult whom can afford these LEGOs in the amounts that it takes to live those childhood fantasies! lol. I have all the 2022 Speed Champions, except for the Jaguar Pack, Corvette Pack, AMG Mercedes Pack, Dodge Pack, and the Koenigsegg Jesko. I also plan to grab up the slightly old SC's from a year ago when they redesigned to the Proper Width size cars (My Son and I call the scales "Single Width", and "Proper Width"! Proper Width being they are nearly MiniFig scale as they allow for a Driver and Passenger as the cars allow for in real life). Not 100% certain which ones I am missing exactly that is what I call "Proper Width", but I do know of a Ferrari Tributo or something like that? This is an amazing collection. Got the Lamborghini a couple of weeks ago, and I'm planning to buy the Ferrari too. 20 bucks It's a good price for a couple of hours of entertainment plus a beautiful collection piece to display on the shelf. The only thing I can't really understand is why there are seven cars for five sets. If I wanted the Mercedes or the Aston Martin I should have bought the set with two cars, and spend a lot, even If I wasn't interested in the other one.

This theme needs to make more civilian cars. Most of the cars I have from these sets are race or nascars and as I person who cares about realism it's very limiting what I can do with and who I can put inside them.

I really love the Lego speed champion sets, the detail, the building techniques. Recently however I was disappointed in finding out that plastic wheels and rubber tyres have been replaced by a single molded plastic element. Seems to take some of the romance out of the builds. Maybe it’s just me being a little obsessive/compulsive.

Lego Speed Champions is what helped me get back into Legos after being away from it for so long because I feel like they're the right balance of price to size AND they're the kind of legos kids can play with and adults can collect to display but they're not the behemoths the true Adult Lego car models are that are for display only.

In australia on the boxes they don’t give us the amount of pieces in small sets for example old Trafford has the piece count but speed champions sets.

The only two I've bought from this year's collection is the Lamborghini and the Ferrari. I'm not a Lotus, Merc/AMG F1 or Aston Martin fan so this year it hasn't really appealed to me. They do all look great though.

I watch F1 for quite some time. And I need to clear one thing. Number 44 is Lewis Hamilton and numeber 77 is Valtteri Bottas. Which changed team for this season so in 2022 number 77 will be on Alfa Romeo Racing. And as 2022 brand new spec of F1 cars going to race, this model is probablly 2021 model that´s why is there Valtteri´ s number.

The reason why there are no engine details on the Lotus is because it's an electric car, that is just supposed to act as a rear windshield

I have been waiting for the Lambo for a long time. After putting it together I am disappointed. The scale is all wrong compared to the other 8 stud Speed Champions. It looks like a 6 stud when displayed with the other 8 stud cars. On the positive side, Lego group did give us clear stickers. I love all the others though. The color of the Lotus is great and the Mercedes set is brilliant.

I do not like the size upgrade they have done in the past two years. It takes away from actually being able to use them in any lego city. All of the earlier smaller sets work great and have the ability to be used in any lego city and all of the new ones are essentially only display pieces. Takes away from the versatility.
